I know some here have mentioned that they never got a separate wedding band and just kept their e-ring as their wedding band. My e-ring is hard to match a band to and with the channel diamonds set with 3 center stones it kind of looks like an e-ring and wedding band in one! So I've decided to not even look for a wedding band. I'd rather use the money for his band if he wants something like titanium.

The only thing that I think will be weird is him giving me my engagement ring again in the ceremony with "this ring" and all that when it's the ring I already had... And then people will want to see it and I'll be like "Um, it's the one I've already been wearing a year and a half" haha.

What did you do?

What did you do?

I plan on wearing my grandmother's wedding rings, and I DO NOT want to change them in any way, as they were given to me after her death. I gues I haven't thought about that aspect of it!

I think I would just tell everyone that you love your e-ring so much that you decided to forgo a traditional band.

We are getting an engagement ring, but there is no way it will work with the set I have now, so I don't know what to do with the e-ring later. Maybe wear it on the other hand?

Well after the wedding's over it'll be easy. I'm just wondering what people did during the ceremony when they just received their old ring again. Like how was it done cleverly?

My friend, who has a marquise-set diamond and didn't want to deal with the strange-shaped bands to go with it, just removed her ring before the ceremony and gave it to the best man, but you can just as easily give it to your husband. When he whipped it out, everybody thought it was an original ring, haha!

But it looks like you found a band that you like now. :)
