I've gotten so much good news today!! I'm kinda afraid that with all this good news something bad is bound to happen, but I'll hope for the best.
Anyways, today at school, my professor told me I was second in our class and right now I have a 3.9 GPA. By the time I graduate it'll be a 4.0! And I wasn't supposed to find out yet, but I saw the plaque - I'm getting the clinical excellence award for my class.
Then Helen (the director of respiratory therapy at the hospital I applied to) called and told me they had a new nurse manager in the NICU. The old nurse manager said they couldn't hire students, but the new one said there's no reason not to. So she said the HR guy should be calling me soon and hopefully they'll have me up there before the end of the month!! I'm so excited about this job!!!
And - Andrew got his yearly raise - $2000. So now he's making about $75 more a paycheck. YAY!!!!!!!!
