Well Easter isn't till Sunday but I'll say Happy Easter anyway!

I hope you all have a great weekend!
I am making a turkey dinner and having some of DH's family over Sunday afternoon. My family has never done much for Easter.

Since my kids are now grown, I am not much into Easter either. I used to do all the Easter egg decorating and hunting stuff for them.

Well now that our Easter plans are all worked out, here's what we'll be doing. My brother and sister-in-law have decided to preserve my sanity and join us for Easter. My mother and sister are coming down as well. So, Sunday morning I'm going to make a big yummy breakfast for everyone (I'm so excited because I get to use my mini-muffin pan!). Then we're going to my FMiL's to have my neice fitted for her dress and we are going to have dinner there with his family, well at least Jason and I are. As for the out-of-towners, I don't know what they're doing.
Of course, all this company means I not only have to clean, but I have to finish the mugs so that they're relatively a surprise for everyone, since a good portion of the people who are getting them are going to be at my apartment. So, if I'm not on here in the next few days, y'all will know why. :)
Happy Easter to everyone! And Happy Passover to those of you who don't celebrate Easter. And happy whatever other holiday there is if you don't celebrate either of the two aforementioned holidays!

I would also like to say Happy Easter or whatever Holiday you celebrate. Kelli your plans sound like you will have a nice day. My plans are simple. We have in the kids in the morning for the easte baskets and egg hunt. Then about 10 am their Nana picks them up to go down and see their dad for dinner. I dont normal have them for dinner. This is how it has been for the last 3 yrs or so. ( excpet last year we all went to my sisters ) I get the fun part with them and then he feeds them. So Nihcolas and I have having a ham dinner. Just the 2 of us. I get to relax untill the kids come home that evening.

Gwen your plans sound so relaxing and enjoyable! Enjoy your evening without the kids! :) Especially since they'll probably be so full of sugar, you could squeeze them and make hershey kisses!

Im sorta dreading my weekend.....Im so tired right now and I have so much planned. This afternoon my sister will be here from Louisiana and we are taking the girls to get dresses. Tomorrow, I have my shower and a skin care class (for Mary Kay) with my FSiL, Sunday we are driving to Dallas to have Easter dinner with my future in-laws.
Right now I just want to go home and http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_50.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm414CPUS).

Me and my DH aren't doing anything! He's flying today, and saturday (tomarrow) and Monday...so that leaves us with Sunday. My mom called and asked us if we were going there to visit and when I said no she got all pissy at me!! WTH?? I don't know what her problem is but at this point I don't care!! lol So we're staying home!

I'm with Cindy, Our weekend is going to be crazy busy as well.
Today we are going to Mark's sisters for a bit then they are all going to mass at 3pm and i am going to stay and work in my programs. After mass we are all going to go out for supper with his sister and her husbands family.
Saturday Mark is working and i'm hanging out at my mom's and working on the programs or favours or somthing. I know i have a small heap of RSVP's to open.
Sunday we are having brunch at my mom's house then off to Mark's mom's house for dinner. Hopefully Monday will be a bit quieter. I have a ton of homework to be doing and we need to work on cleaning the apartment and starting to pack because it's going to be put up for sale in the beginning of May.

Happy Good Friday Ladies!!!
Our weekend is going to be nutso!!!! Tomorrow, J is fixing my breaks, then we are taking our save the date cards pics, making a easter bunny cake, then to Peyton's baseball game, and off to my mom's. My parents have acquired five grandchildren in the last year (J's three, and my sister's twins born in Sept). We are all staying at thier house tomorrow night, and then getting up for church Sunday. It will be so fun. I haven't had an Easter w my family in about 11 years.
I tell you though, after Easter, it's ALL ABOUT LOSING WEIGHT!!!!!! IT'S ON BABY!!!

Yeah, I agree. My youngest cousin will be five this year and he loves to steal the eggs his brother finds and put them in his basket. It's so funny because he does it when his brother isn't looking and then when he goes to add to his eggs, half of them are gone!

Awwwww.........Look at the baby bunnies!!!!! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_15_32.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm414CPUS) Now I want one! We had a black mini-lop about 8 years ago. He had chewed a hole in his water bottle and got his bedding all wet. The gray tufts (I guess) on the bottom of his feet were dyed a bright green. Everybody got the biggest kick out of our black rabbit with green feet!

Darn it! Now Sean has to go and buy me a bunny. I'm sure Ruffles and Ellie would LOVE that. Of course he might prefer it to the orphan. I went to see Annie las tnight and came home and told him I wanted a cute little red haired singing orpahn.

Aww! The bunnies were so cute Carrie! Yesterday we had to wait to drive out of our driveway because there was a bunny making his way down it! He was a cute little guy (I'm sure I wouldn't feel the same way if I had a garden down there)!
Well, my brother got strep throat and they're staying home and my mother and sister decided they're not coming in until tomorrow morning. Good thing I didn't buy too much extra food and I've given up buying milk for my family (I ended up with a gallon of milk the last time I planned for them to be here and, being lactose intollerant, I couldn't drink it and Jason's not a big milk drinker...so you guys can guess where that gallon of milk went). Hope you all have a joyous day tomorrow! We're going to have breakfast once my sister and mama get here tomorrow and then we're going to my FIL's for dinner. Everyone will be there, so it should be a good time!

Well I survivied my weekend. Barely! I was going non-stop from the time I go off work Friday until I crashed in the bed last night. I had a blast though. Shopping with my sister was fun. My shower was a blast! I got lots of panties and stuff. (Even got a pair of "edible undies" from my FMiL!) The Easter thing yesterday was nice. I just dont care for the drive! Im just hoping things wont be so stressed for the next week or so. We only have 3 weekend left before the wedding and I know those are going to be super super busy!
How did yalls weeknds go?

My parents didn't have anything for easter. They never even called me :bbcry: Danny's parents went to his aunts for dinner and we didn't feel like making the 4 hour drive. So we had our own Easter. We got a smoker and hadn't used it yet so we decided to smoke our Ham. It was awesome. We may have started our own tradition. Once it stopped raining we went for a long 4-wheeler ride after. It turned out to be a great day.
Hope you all had a great holiday too!!:D

Glad to hear you had a good time at your wedding shower Cindy.
My weekend was kinda stressful. At times it was crummy cause i was alone for alot of it. But Sunday we had dinner at Mark's parents with his sisters and neice and nephews. My parents came as well. It was alot of fun.
We didn't do to much but hang out and talk. It was really nice.

We had a good holiday. Easter was mostly running around visiting relatives and picking up all the things the easter bunny left for my son all over town. We had dinner at my parents house. My dad makes the best ham... Guess what I am having for lunch? :)

Brians mom made a ham too. I made a pot of pinto beans to take up there. Saturday night I threw a bag of beans in the crock pot, threw in some bacon slices, some seasoning, and I believe they turned out to be the best beans Ive ever made! They were awsome!

Our easter weekend sucked to be honest! My DH was at school Friday (which usually is a holiday here) and Saturday. We had only Sunday together so we spent it talking about the future and where we think we might end up and if we are happy with this new move! (of course I'm not...lol...long story!) We came to the conclusion that we will be moving in about nine months! YAY!! BUt yeah, Easter was a bust, but at least my honey bought me some easter flowers.

I'm happy to hear that everyone survived their Easter....or the weekend alone. Joel and I went to Indiana and celebrated with my aunt, her bf and his family and my cousin and his gf and newborn. It was alright and dinner was good. I think that it was awkward for him...becuase we usually celebrate Easter with his family in Ohio. It was nice though...and we had a four day weekend so it was relaxing as well.

Happy (late) Easter to everyone! Our weekend wasn't very exciting. Worked Saturday and then went to a birthday party for Steve's cousin little boy. He just turned 1. Boy is he a cutie! Then Sunday we just relaxed and had dinner at his house with his family. I could have survived with out FSIL and her FH thought.
