I am a Vegas expert. *I think I should have added Vegas to that guilty pleasures thread!* I'm there like 4 times a year and we're doing our wedding there. I think it's one of the best places in the whole big world. :)
What do you want to know?
Just romantic stuff or everything? :)

We had our wedding out by Lake Mead and for our honeymoon we rented a house boat and drove around the lake for 5 days...it was a blast! Things to see are the Valley of Fire and Lake Mead in my book!

Phantom of the Opera was awesome!! I went to see several versions all over the US and the one in Vegas has to be the best. I went to Canada and saw their version and also one in New York.

Jacob slept halfway through it but he was tired from all the walking we did earlier.

We didn't get a chance to do the canal ride in the Venetian but it looked like fun :)

Yep, we're getting married there and staying for a week.

We've got all sorts of stuff planned. First off, we'll have family and friends there for the first few days (prior to the wedding), so we'll go to shows and hang out with them. Also have kind of a 'behind the scenes' tour of the Hoover Dam planned.

We'll hit some shows... at least three of the Cirque du Soleils (Ka, O and Love). Also planning on getting out and doing some hiking in the desert, and some horseback riding. Couples massage/some spa treatments... Found a place where we can rent sportbikes for the day (including gear) so we might spend a day riding out in the desert. Fremont Street (I think that's the name of it -- the old town area with all the lights).... Might check out Moorea Club (adults only pool, top optional, etc...) one afternoon. Maybe take in a cabaret or something along those lines.

Really we don't even PLAN to do any gambling... we might do a little here and there just for fun, but it's not a priority.

And then of course "honeymoon" type stuff (the stuff that means ordering in room service and not leaving the room). ;)

I second Phantom. The tickets are kind of expensive, but it sooooooo worth it! Sorry about Believe, though. I just saw the ad on the Luxor when I was driving home from school this morning.

You should also check out Paris and take the elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower. At night you get a bird's eye view of the Bellagio fountains.

If you and FH are into music, you can check out if any bands are playing at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay that you're into.

The shows are a given, but I saw Cirque's Zumanity last May when I was there.....uhhh. WOW. I felt embarassed to be there, but it was sooo flippin cool once I let down my prude guard....(And anyone who knows me, I am so NOT prude.)

FORUM SHOPS! MAC Pro Store. Poor FH, had to drink his way thru my 2 hour splurge in there.

I guess since our trip consisted of having money to burn, we gambled, partied, drank, and shopped alot....but then again, we are the party animals of our group. ;)

1. Fountain show at Bellagio
2. Big Elvis - free show at Bill's Gambling Hall - best Elvis impersonator ever
3. Mix or Voodoo Lounge for the view and drinks
4. Fremont Street experience downtown for the light show and that old school Vegas feel
5. Peppermill restaurant also for old school Vegas feel
6. Gondola rides in the Grand Canal Shops at the Venetian - romantic and fun - they sing to you and you're supposed to kiss every time you go under a bridge...:) While you're there go to the food court and find Lime Ice and get a yummy alcoholic slushie - I recommend the Purple rain. Yummiest. Ever.
7. Haven't seen Phantom but have heard great things about it - also should see a Cirque show - O or Love get the best reviews
8. Shopping at Caesar's Forum Shops - and stop at Mesa Grill in Caesars for one of the best meals ever and a watermelon margarita - by the far the best margarita of them all
9. Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay - it's so cute in there - I think it's worth the money - a lot of people disagree but I go almost every time I go to Vegas
10. Spas - the spas in Vegas are super decadent and the treatments are well worth the money. Qua at Caesars is the new "it" place but I recommend Canyon Ranch at the Venetian and Spa Mandalay at Mandalay bay. Ditto on the couples massage!
11. Pools - hopefully you're going during warm months because there's nothing like a blended drink by a Vegas pool!
12. Room service, lock door, as stated above.

There's something for everybody in Vegas...:)

If you are in to this type of thing, the rollercoaster at NY NY is the best!!! Well worth the $15 per ride (well, that was back in 2000)!
