As some of you may know RC has a vette that he purchased shortly after we met. I get to drive it when he is tired. Well, this weekend he stated, "Honey lets go car shopping for you." We need to get rid of 2 cars first, a 98 Pontiac Trans Am Firebird and a 04 Impalla SS. So we spent the weekend cleaning them up getting them ready to trade them in. Seems the hubby had already found the car he wants to get me. He told me to bring along the camera since he wanted to take pictures so we could get the VIN number and the package explanation so he can check and make sure he is getting a good deal. You could have knocked me over with a feather! We drove to our local Chevy place and this is what he had me take picture of.

It's used with 11 Thousand Miles. He is going to the bank this afternoon and then we are going to the dealer tonight to see what they will give us for our trade-ins. I want to get excietied but I'm scared. I hope that he is serious but I'm not holding my breath. I will believe it when the keys are in my hot little hands. Keep your fingers crossed girls.

I wish it was red! I'm calling to set up the test drive for tonight! Hey I'll give you a ride if you ever make it down to VA. I don't think we will make it to Canada at least not in a convertable :D

RC just called his oldest son and asked him one more time did he want "Blue" he said YES! I'm sorry I hope your dad can find himself a good one. RC has some good contacts for Vetts from the fourum. There is also a really good Vette only dealership in Colonial Beach, VA I can't think of the name right now but they have a website that shows all of their Vettes.

Well that's great that it will stay in the family. It may have been too old for my dad. If I am remembering right the 98 has the older front end. My sister bought a 2001 last year...it's awesome! My dad wants one to race or one to drive to work.

A TA and a Vette have been my two dreamcars since I was a kid. Not sure how I got to like firebirds so much, but the vette dream is due to my dad. He's wanted a Stringray Vette forever, and I inherited his love for Corvettes.

Have fun, but not TOO much fun, especially past a cop! I KNOW I'd have to get a fuzzbuster if I owned something like that...it'd be too tempting to NOT put the pedal to the metal...

WS6 ;) not 5. My sisters is a WS6 also. Though hers has some mods under the hood. It's pretty darn fast!!

Ahh yours is a convertible, my dad doesn't want that. It does have the same front end as my sisters. They changed them but I couldn't remember what year that look changed. Do you have the original WS6 wheels? Here is a photo of my sisters.

Oh hers only has 13,000 miles on it.

You're right I've got so many C's, W's and 5's and 6's running through my head I can't keep track. No RC sold those several years ago. People where trying to steal them when it would be parked in shopping center lots. He would come out and the lug nuts would be lying on the ground. Pickup trucks around here liked those wheels. There are alot of S-10's here and those fit perfect.

I don't know if I can get there without getting rained on. If you are ever in Virginia you have a ride waiting. We are taking them to a local car show this weekend. It will be Baby's 3rd and the convertibles first. Tomorrow I will be detailing the insides of both getting ready. Then Saturday it is washes and waxes for both, but at least RC does most of that. I doubt we will win any prizes but it will be fun and our local Vette club is going as a group. The guys sit around talking cars and we go shopping or talk about our husbands and their cars.:winktongue:
