Hi, I am new to this board my name is Naomi I am 21 from Australia :bblol: I thought I would do just a quick intro. I look forward to getting to know you all better. We have set the date for August 18th 07 I am getting in early but have to since I am having my wedding in my home town which is about 700km away, I thought I was being silly starting to plan this early untill I went to book my reception for that weekend to find out it was already booked :bbeek:.

Hi Naomi, Welcome to the board.
It seems that it's never to early to start planning your wedding. I started in November 2004 and my wedding is this June. I've come across a couple things where i didn't think i needed to do it further in advance and i've found that it was already booked. Like my hotel for out of town guests i thought 6 months before the wedding was lots. Apperently not cause there were already 2 weddings booked for that weekend. As well my hair dresser. After i asked him at Christmas he said sure but didn't tell me to book him. At the 3 month mark i went in to book it and he was already booked for that day.
It was disapointing, so i say book early so you don't have that disapointment. Good luck with plannng your wedding! I can't wait to hear more about it!

OMG I am such a ditz :bbredface: I only just realised while starting my wedding journal that I put that I was 21 on here lol I guess I am just used to saying 21 lol well actually ladies I am infact 22 my birthday was in January so I should be used to that by now sorry.

Welcome to the board Naomi!! My wedding is May 12, 2007. We were engaged last year in March and I've been planning since then :bblol: . It's never too early. I kept waiting and waiting for the time that I would actually get to book people and it's finally here... snuck up on me fast! Can't wait to get to know you better and hear your ideas!

Welcome Naomi! Don't worry about the age thing. The other day I told my doctor I was 25 when infact I am ONLY 23!! I have no idea where that came from!! lol. Congrats on your up coming wedding and like Jenn said, you can never start planning too early!!

I want to join in on saying welcome Naomi! Your gonna love this place. I have been here for over a year now and my wedding is still 2 months away. It is never too early to start. What part of Australia are ya from. One of my best freinds lives near Brisbane. She is going to be here for my wedding. I can't wait to see her again. I saw her last when she suprised me by showing up for a week in Dec. for my Birthday. Again welcome. These girls are awsome.

Welcome to the board! My wedding is December 30, 2006. I started planning in January, but I didn't get engaged until December 2005. I would have started planning earlier if i would have gotten engaged earlier.

I have visitors coming here for over a week so I won't be on much over that time if at all but when I get back you will be seeing alot of me around here ;).

rainbow- I am from North Queensland but go to birssy at least once a year and will probably be going down in a few weeks are my H2B is working down there for 6 weeks.
