What is most important when it comes to a Vendor?

I feel that personality is one of the biggest factors when choosing a vendor. If we don't get along with each other, I feel like things would be awkward and wouldn't turn out well. (Photography for example, if you're not comfortable with your photographer, your pictures will show it). I also think for my other top three, I would choose affordability and experience.

I have to say that it is experience, personality, and style. If you don't know what you are doing, can't get along with me, and can't see or do what I vision, than it just isn't going ot be a good relationship for either of us.

Really though, I think a good vendor needs to have a good personality, be experienced, knowledgeable, and good at what they do, offer a good quality product/service at a fair price, and be willing to be flexible (within reason of course).

As far as the over all affordability thing, I think that you can find 'cheap' vendors but sometimes this will mean you are giving up the better quality. So I don't think it should always be about cost (though we all know we have to be cautious of the budget) but more about what you are actually getting for the money.

This is why I always tell people to shop around and do your homework before you buy ;)
