Hi everyone. I am working on my mint tin favors. I ordered those cute little tins from OTC,

kinda like these:

http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/browse/processRequest.do?demandPrefix=11&productId=IN-42/2826&mode=Browsing&requestURI=processProductsCatalog&xsaleSku=47/426&sku=42/2826&cm_sp=Cross%20Sell-_-Product%20Detail-_-Product%20Detail

but the mints that came with the tins are less than appetizing. Any suggestions for replacement mints? I know there are a lot of folks who have done these. I haven't shopped yet for candy in bulk. I have 48 tins - each will hold maybe a couple ounces of candy. I want them to be white, probably, and minty.

Thanks!
Gina F.

I like those little butter mints; they come in white or a pastel color mix. You can usually find them at Michaels and I would think some grocery and discount stores would have them too.

I like those chocolate mints with the candy coating. They're like M&Ms, only minty. I've only seen them in restaurants, though...

My mother has a friend that makes those little dinner mints. They are SOOOO much better than the ones you buy in stores. So if you can find someone to make them than that's good. If not you can check at party stores and sometimes they have candy sized to fit in small tins. I don't know how good they taste tho.

Oh gosh, I LOVE those and don't know who sells them, either. I am going to have to buy something that will hold up in the heat. This is an August wedding in Texas. LOL

Thanks!
