Yesterday was our rehersal dinner, and we gave out gifts to the bridal party.
Here's what we got, if anyone needs help (I know I did!)
Flower girls: heart shaped lockets. I also got these cute teddy bears holding a box, and put the necklace in the box. ($30/each)
Groomsmen: Modern Pocket watches, with the date of the wedding and "Good times" engraved in the back. ($40/each)
Bridesmaids: Mahogany jewelery boxes. ($50/each) The maid of honor got a jewelery box, but hers was more beautiful. ($70- but she was the best Maid of honor anyone could have asked for, so she deserves the extra money spent).
Parents: Silver plated picture albums, with the date of our wedding engraved on the front. Plus witha promise to fill it after the wedding.

Thats what Im thinking Im getting my girls, lockets, with their names and our wedding date on the back. maybe a pic of me and Brian, but they can replace it iif they want. As for the boys, I dont have a clue. The pocket watch would be good for my 13 year old, but the 8 and 5 year olds probably would get much use out of it. We are probably going to do engraved picture frames for our parents.

I did keepsake boxes and most of the accessories for the wedding for the girls, along with a little picture frame I found at Target in the dollar section and a little gift I picked up at the dollar store for each of them. Stingy, I know, but I'm on a tight budget. So, total on each girl; about $15, give or take.
I paid for the flower girl's dress and also made a little piggy bank for her. And the ring bearer is getting a piggy bank as well.
Jason is going to put money towards the guys' tuxes for his gift to them.
For Jason's mother and father, but mostly his mother, we're going to take them out to dinner after we get back from the honeymoon. We'll also probably do photo albums for both our parents and I'm going to make a brag book for my mother because she keeps raving to all her coworkers about the wedding so I want her to have something to show them. I found some cute little photo books at Target I might use. We'll see.
I do know that my mother's biggest complaint about my brother's weddings (yes, PLURALIZED...as in BOTH of them) was that she did not get ANY pictures. Not a SINGLE one! So I will make sure she doesn't have that complaint from our wedding. :) I don't know why anyone wouldn't give their mother pictures from the wedding!

I have bot thought about it much. The girls in my wedding party are getting the center pieces though. If all of them are still in it there are 6 and 8 center pieces. So 2 for me to keep. I will talkto Nicholas about getting something for his mom. Not sure about my mom either yet. Or the groomsmen. We dont have alot ofo money. Most has been spent on his truck being fixed. I do want to get things for the kids to do. I keep seeing the faom shapes that are like stickers. Nothing messy but good enough for all ages. I can get door knob hangers in the foam and then buy the pieces for them to stick on. As well as crayon and such. I want to put together a kids table. OK I am rambling on and got off subject there sorry.

The only place that I found that had decent children's jewelry was JCPenney. I got my flower girls' lockets there.

I plan on getting my bridesmaids a matching necklace and earring set to go with their dress to wear at the wedding. For the flowergirls I found a really cute little pink bag that says flowergirl and you can get their initials monogrammed on it. For the guys I think Justin likes the beer mugs with their names engraved on it. For my parents I want to get a silver frame that says your daughter. It is a double frame and you put a picture in there when you where a kid and then a bridal portrait pic as well.
