Just FYI
I recently went to a Mary Kay Spa Day and it was so much fun. Other than the social part we had the opportunity to soak our feet and use the Mary Kay body washes and then we gave ourselves pedicures and manicures. It was a lot of fun. I am thinking of doing this with my Bridesmaids. I work at a hotel and I think I am going to rent a suite so we can do this and just relax at the hotel. It is an inexpensive way to treat your bridesmaids to a "spa day" because you do not have to pay for the party. The only cost to you is if you purchase anything.
And because I know 2 other friends that are in the process of wedding planning I am going to let them know about it and I am hoping that all 3 of us can get together with our bridesmaids to do this. It would just be a fun ladies night if nothing else.
Thanks for letting me share!

That is a wonderful idea ~ a great way of treating your bridesmaids to a little pampering!! The idea of doing it in a hotel suite is even better than at home ~ order up some room service & you'll be good to go!

Update on Spa Day
We had our spa day last night! It was fabulous! We just sat around pampering ourselves and had a few drinks from the lounge. We ended up sitting around the fireplace in the lobby of the hotel and we moved the furniture around so that it was like a horseshoe shape around the fireplace. We had a great time and eveyone enjoyed themselves. We liked it so much that we have decided to do this again a few more times!

Great idea. But I suggest you check with the hotel to make sure this is ok. The hotel that I work at won't allow anything to be sold out of the rooms and would consider this kind of thing a Mary Kay sales pitch.

Savvy,

So glad to hear that you had a wonderful time! Such an inexpensive way of pampering yourself!! I don't blame you for wanting to it a few more times . . . always nice to be pampered ~ especially when you're stressed over wedding plans!

I am sorry your hotel that you work at is not so much fun! We enjoy bringing guests and revenue to our hotel that I work at (which is the hotel where we had the party) We have a meeting room where the local Mary Kay unit meets every monday night. Since they bring business to our hotel we did not think this was a huge problem. Especailly since about half of the people that were at the spa night are also hotel employees and Mary Kay customers.
