I am not going to share pics of mine cause we are in major need of a remodel :p But maybe I can get some ideas from you all :grinhappy:

Doug did a bunch of woodwork to the cabinets..I will have to try and find a picture before the renovations. He added the lights above the sink and moved the one over the island so it is centered. Actually, 2 of the cabinet doors are now glass.

We are right in the middle of remodeling our kitchen - while I wan in VT Patrick ripped everything (even the sheetrock!) out, and we have been slowly pulling it back together...

And here are a few pictures I took last night. We still have a lot of finishing work to do on it - put the trim on, the wood on the top of the backsplash (it's just plywood right now) but we are getting there!

HAha - next time I will be in VT I will be getting married! No time for kitchen remodels!

We are planning on moving out there before the end of the year (I think I have mentioned that before...?) and if we do we will most likely be buying my grandmothers house - which is sitting empty right now. My dad remodeled that kitchen about 2 years ago - BEAUTIFUL!

We basically re-did EVERYTHING, except the shower. New vanity (which I love because there is a drawer on the bottom for storage in additon to the cabinet and two drawers on the right), granite counter, new sink/faucet, mirror (replaced the medicine cabinet) and new light fixture. Also, new toilet and towel bars and took the cheep linoleum out and replaced it with ceramic tile. I'm sooo proud of our bathroom. Not too shabby for a small space!

You really want to see my current kitchen? OK! I am moving out of here this weekend, but I do have some pics of the kitchen because it's from something like the 70s and really funny. Here's my stove. Note that it has BUTTONS instead of dials. Also note the pink tiles. The fridge is yellow too!

FH's bathroom SUCKS and he knows it. We will be doing minor things like replacing the sink/cabinet (there is a 6 inch space between the sink and the wall, but no counter space! ??)

I'm really happy with how much it opened the place up. We also put new lighting fixtures in the kitchen. Not too much had to be done other than the wall and the lights.

Our bathrooms are pretty boring...typical new home bathrooms, I guess. I don't know if we'll do anything to them or not - remodeling them are about as low on my list as they can be right now. LOL

I've been wanting to do more 'decorating' in them, though...but that, again, isn't on the top of my to-do list.

The only remodeling I want to do to it is having 2 little pendant lights hanging down over the bar area. And I'd like to switch out the dining room chandelier.

I can post pics of our kitchen in our new house! It needs some work but I want to paint the cupboards white or something like that. Haven't decided on the walls. I want red but Chris won't let me paint them red. Lol. His friend has a really nice Firebird and is in love it with. He said I could paint it Candy Apple Red and decorate with Corvette emblems. Lol. I would too, if Chris let me paint it red!

Just take that paneling down! It's pretty easy!

It's some kind of wall covering or paper that you put on paneling to hid the groove marks. When it's done you can't tell that you painted over paneling. It looks like dry wall. I'm not sure who sells it, Home Depot or Lowe's, I'm assuming. Maybe you can search for it on the net.

We are mudding another room that has paneling, and then we will prime that and paint. We'll see how that goes. Tearing it down and putting up drywall was an option too...I just can't wait til we build our own house!

Wow, that's a really good idea. We almost had some paneling painted the other day and the painter made it sound like it was going to be the toughest thing in the world and we decided to hold off. (Well, truthfully, to find a different painter, but in doing that we are holding off ;)) I'll have to look into it.

dont have any great pictures of the kitchen. Its got tumbled marble countertops which fh did and is proud of and we replaced the appliances with stainless steel. i <3 it!
