awesome! I am so glad you posted this! we made something similar to this with my Gramma's craft group, they were Easter baskets made out of string that you wrapped around a balloon, painted with watered down craft glue let dry, then pop the balloon an voila' you've got a egg shaped Easter basket~

Anyway, I was wondering if this would work for lanterns b/c my sister said she'd like to use paper lanterns for her reception! this would be perfect!
