So we have a stack of at least 100 cards we got from family/friends for our wedding. I always keep cards (I still have cards from my first few birthdays), but I'm wondering if there's something creative we could do with these as opposed to just sticking 'em in a box somewhere.

What do ya'll think?

what about a scrap book? you can tear the card in half the front and the place where they signed it, and maybe even put a pic there if you have one of the person who gave it to you?

That's what we're doing, too. It was actually DH's idea. I'm not necessarily going to keep the signatures or whatnot, but I'll take parts of each one and make pages out of them...like a collage made from bits of the cards.

Oooo that's a good idea! I'd love to see pics of it once you get started Tango!

I didn't get many cards, but I'm opening them up and sliding them into a page in our guestbook. I put the actual guestbook pages that people filled out first, then I'll put in some photos of people filling out the guestbook pages that our photographer took, then I have some room for the few cards that we did get, and very last, I'll do a page listing the gifts. Oh, and I'm not taping the cards down, so if I ever want them to take out the cards and look at the fronts, then I can do that.

You can get a nice big photo frame and put them inside and hang it on the wall. Check out what that lady did. Put your cards one next to the other in the frame. I am sure it will be wonderful.
