We both planned on going back to work on the Monday after the Wedding. But then the other night FH said he was going to take a week off.
So tonight i was sitting here watching Billy Connolly on Cable and he was doing a tour of Wales. He went to a place called Port Merion. It is a Village that was built as a Folly and was used in the TV Series "The Prisoner". I used to watch it as a Child and it wasn't until i grew up that i realised the "Set" was infact a real place.
Anyhow. It got me thinking so i came back online and within five clicks i found a great deal.
Four Nights, Five Days for £260 all inclusive (Approx $520)
This will be the First Holiday FH has ever had! So obviously the First One for us as a couple too.
Apart from the odd one nights stay in Belfast and Various Hotels in the chain i work for. We have never been away.
I'm bouncing here because i've been wanting to go there for Years. Plus our Hotel overlooks Snowdonia National Park.

Wow that is a great deal! Congratulations on taking the vacation. I keep looking for all inclusive vacations but they seem to start at $520 a night.

Exactly. I was shocked when he said he was taking time off. So i had to jump at the chance to take him away from Work for a few days. Because i know he will answer the Phone and sort out any problems. And probably go in for the day if he was at Home.
Here's a brief outline of where we are going for you lot not in the UK. :winktongue:

Well first of all there's my House
In the UK i just love the Lake District. I did think about going there. But to get there from ours you have to take the A1 or the M1 and both go past FH's Daughters House. And knowing him he'd want to go Visit. Which is OK with me, they are great Kids. But purleeze, this IS a Honeymoon LOL.
So yeah. The Lake District is great for Natural Beauty. Also Devon and Cornwall is lovely and Typically English in a quaint way.
Of course there is London. Great for Shopping, Theatres and Eating Out. But very expensive. I'm only 20 odd Mile from London and i go maybe Twice a Year if i'm lucky. FH works in the City so he's kinda sick of it.
England is full of History and Culture. But with almost $2 to a £1 it can be a very expensive place to visit.
I don't know much about Wales. I've only been there for an AC/DC Convention Weekend (Three Years running) and once to do some Motorbike Marshalling. But from what i've seen, once again it's very Pretty.
And Scotland i've only been to Glasgow Three Times. Once i drove there from the Lake District (110 Mile) and Twice i've Flown. Once to visit Friends and the Second Time for their Wedding.
And BTW it doesn't rain here as much as People believe. And the Smog in London left us Decades Ago LOL.

i hate to say this but i just want to have the best honeymoon ever seeing everything i can... money really isnt a problem. that sounds bad on a budgeting bride website. I am budgeting but we have so many airline miles and hotel miles that all of that is free so all we have to spend is food and shopping bar drinks..lol... London is where we will fly into more and likly and go from there. to different places.

Then London is your best bet for places to Travel from. Great Rail links around London itself. And the Countryside is only 20 Minutes away by Train if you want Peace and Tranquility.
Where i live is surrounded by Countryside and it's Beautiful out here. Infact a lot of the Rich and Famous live around here.
If you have Air / Hotel Miles then you are well and truly sorted. It's the Hotels that are the Money Grabbers (That sounds Good coming from Me who works in a Hotel LOL)
Hope you get what you want.
