Since I am from Wisconsin, all I hear is Brett Favre> I personally was very excited when he chose to retire and thought he would be out of the picture for good. He is a good quarter back, bought could not stand his selfish, everyone pitty me attitude. Now he is coming out of retirement not even a couple months of retirement. So ladies, do you think Brett should stay have stayed retired or do you think that Greenbay should let him come back as thier starting quarter back and boot Arran Rogers out and make him the back up quarter back again.

I'm very much not a football fan (though FH is)... and probably shouldn't answer 'cause I'm in the rival state, but I think he should've stayed retired. Something like that is a huge enough decision that you should make your mind the first time around, I think.

I am also from wisconsin. And at work thats all I hear about.

He chose to retire. And even stated if he played again he would not be giving 100%, so why would a team take him if he stated himself he isn't 100% for the game.

He played for the Packers and he played well but I think his time is over.

Another WI girl here, and I am SO tired of heraing about this CR@P! :irked:Poor Brett, he decided to retire, now he wants to come back and we have moved on already. Not our problem, you are NOT the victom. STOP ACTING LIKE IT!!! The fans and team wanted you back at the end of the year. You left the stadium with 68,000people + chanting "one more year! one more year!" You have done this to your fans and team the last three years and have screwed up our draft because of it. No other football player would be able to take this long to decded if they want to retire or not. He went out as a hero, but after the stunt he is pulling this is what he is going to be known for. How sad......

He just needs to LET GO. Seriously. I have always been a Brett Favre fan, but this mess is ridiculous. He had his chance to stay and didn't. Life goes on, and most importantly, the team moved on. Now, HE needs to move on. Who wants a wishy-washy QB that can't make up his mind on whether or not he wants to play? It's time to hang it up.

I guess I am the only one favoring his return.

Green Bay Packers is our family's team. We love them, and I love Brett Favre. He really does make the time, and to avoid conflict...he isnt the only one.

I am suprised that for his age he can keep at football. Good for him.

My team is the Packers (RC loves Dallas) and I love Brett but I feel that he made the decision to leave at the top of his game he should accept that and move on to the next chapter in his life. As far as I know it was his decision and no one made him do it. You just don't get do overs in real life usually.

Now dont get me wrong I love Brett Favre but If you watch any of the shows talking about it...
Any athlete that retires has second thoughts and wants to go back.

Since I can remember the Packers have always had Brett Favre, and I think he made the right choice the first time with retiring. But if he is going to play football there is noooooo way he should play for anyone but the Packers. It would break hearts, and would just not be.....right.

I LOVE FAVRE!!! A three-time MVP, he leads the league with 442 touchdown passes, 61,655 yards passing and 160 career victories. He started 253 consecutive regular-season games, more than any other quarterback in history. Including the playoffs, his streak stands at 275. What is not to love, he is a great quarterback. Green Bay treted him like a GOD even after he retired.

When he retired, he said said, "I've given everything I possibly could give to this organization, the game of football, and I don't think I've got anything left to give And that's it. I know I can play. But I don't think I want to."

I understand that people change their mindsnot just in retirment but everything, HOWEVER, you can not screw up other peoples lives and plans because you are unsure. You had A LOT of time to make your decision, you made it, and now you have to live with it. DO NOT make this out to be the teams fault when he said "they made it very clear that they do not want me back" Really? We wanted you back, but not when it is convienent for you. Mini camps have been going on sense the season has been done. Aaron has taken over as our leader. We want you back, but you need to be a backup.... You are an amazing player, but you are acting like a four year old who wants their toy back that they gave up.

Favre is going to ruin his legacy if he does not start to play his cards right.

Thanks for all your imput ladies.. I am actually not a Farve fan at all, so the more I hear of his return the more I want to yack:hothead: I have never seen someone so self centered and have his own pitty party for himself because the packers won't release him. They are willing to let him come back, but as a back up to Arron Rogers. I give the packers a a thumbs up for that. He made his decision, he said he didn't want to play the game anymore, but football season fast approaching, he decides he wants to play, but give him the release he wants. I mean who does he think he is. He want out with a bang and now the more he pushes it the worst it looks for him. Pitty party for Brett Favre... nope not here. Be a back up to Arron Rogers and bench Favre, that would be just peacy by me... and my dh totally agrees with me. He to was a Favre fan, huge packer fan.. but thinks Favre is to into himself and should just stay retired

Another Wisconsin girl here and I just saw this now! I'm soooo sick of hearing about this. Quite honestly, I think he has lost a lot of his game in the last couple of years and I thought this last year was a good time for him to retire because he played semi-decent. In any event, he needs to stay retired and focus on his family and the rest of his life. I think the Packers are handling this in a fair way.

I am a Cowboys fan, not a Packers fan, but always thought Favre was a pretty good guy. Now he just seems like another self-centered athlete, and while I'm sure there's blame on both sides, the kicker to me is that he had the chance to come back in March then said, "Cancel that, I'm staying retired."

Looks like he'll end up with either the Jets or Bucs now-although he's saying he's gonna show up to camp. This is either gonna get even nastier or he'll be traded.

If he ends up going to another team, I'd hate to be him when he returns to Green Bay for a game. The fans will give him hell.
