Free photo editing program

Hey all, a friend on another forum told me about this and I thought I'd share ... Can't afford Photoshop or can't see spending the money just to dabble with your personal pics? I have not dowloaded it yet (I have Photoshop) but I heard good things about it and wanted to share. I may try to download it when I get some time.
