about using scriptures as the theme for your wedding? There is a verse in Eccl. that is wonderful. It says :
" Two are better than one for if they fall,One will lift up the other.Again,if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one be warm alone?"
Its just a sentence or two off.I gotta look it up.We have a marriage ministry at church and this is a passage they used,I thought it was beautiful. And it spoke to me and let me know that I was worthy of having met love. what do you think?

I like it :D We used the old 13 corinthians in our ceremony as well as this little poem ...
"Woman was made from man's side; not from his head to be ruled by him, nor from his feet to be walked upon by him.
But rather from his side to be his partner, from under his arm to be protected by him, and nearest to his heart to be loved"
Sorry, just had to share ;)

Here is the version that is the most popular ...
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (CEV)
4Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or 5rude.
Love isn't selfish or quick tempered. It doesn't keep a record
of wrongs that others do. 6Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil.
7Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.
8Love never fails!

This is the version I am using in my wedding. I heard it in a movie this way and I absolutely love it.
Love is always patient and kind.
It is never jealous.
Love is never boastful nor conceited.
It is never rude or selfish.
It does not take offense,
And it is not resentful.
Love takes no pleasure in other peoples sins,
But delights and the truth.
It is always ready to exuse,
to trust, to hope,
And to endure whatever comes.

:14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, F19 (http://bible.crosswalk.com/OnlineStudyBible/bible.cgi?word=Ephesians+3%3A14-19§ion=0&version=nrs&new=1&oq=I+Corinthians+13#F19) 3:15 from whom every family F20 (http://bible.crosswalk.com/OnlineStudyBible/bible.cgi?word=Ephesians+3%3A14-19§ion=0&version=nrs&new=1&oq=I+Corinthians+13#F20) in heaven and on earth takes its name. 3:16 I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, 3:17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. 3:18 I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 3:19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
This is from Ephesians 3 and I am going to use it.
