Cool; your chest peice is cool ... the little skull is cute, I like your stars and paw prints too. I want to get something for my dogs tattooed on me too.
I love tattoos, I sort of have 11 now ;) I say sort of because the latest two incorporated smaller tatts I already had, so they are not really counted as one anymore. But I have been tattooed like 12 or 13 times (one cover up and a couple touch ups) now. I have plans for at least a few more :grinhappy:

Very cool!! You've got some great pieces!!!!!!!
I don't even think I've got pics of mine handy... I have 3.5...
My first was yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago and it's an itty bitty yellow daisy on my left ankle. It's going to get reworked - soon.
My second was a tiny little red heart (about 1/2" wide) right above the center of my butt. Later I had the traditional black tribal tramp stamp added around it. I still love it, but I'm working on designs to tie it all into a much larger whole-back piece.
And my most recent was about 1.5 years ago... it's a set of 4 (lifesize) sandpiper tracks going up the top of my right foot. It's in memory of my Gramma.
FH has three -- a tribal arm band he got literally like 12-15 years ago.
Then a tribal sportbike.
But the GREAT one is a traditional Japanese half-sleeve with a gorgeous Koi, that he got done last year (it was his Bday present.... 3 sessions and over 10 hours... it's AMAZING).

Like I said in your dress post, I love the stars up your leg. Super cute!!
The coolest thing I ever had was an industrial piercing. I took it out because after 10 months it still hadn't healed properly and was forming scar tissue :( I need another cool piercing. Suggestions? ;)

My guy too has a half sleeve of randomness...I absolute adore Japanese work though...someday on my side (ribs :bbeek:) I will have my Japanese piece, complete with cherry blossoms, a geisha, and Japanese buildings...can't wait! hahaha

I too have an industrial, mine took FOREVER to heal!! I do have a couple orbital piercings, one through the cartilage and one through the conch. (In the picture of my "D" in the heart, the blue one is the cartilage orbital and the purple is the conch orbital.
Otherwise I did have a horizontal eyebrow piercing once, but it didn't heal very well...it was parallel to my eyebrow instead of going through my eyebrow.
Oh no, now you guys got me talking, I could talk for days about tattoos/piercings!!

Cool Ink.
Love the little Paws Prints.
I want a Paw Print to cover up my White Sox Logo (Don't ask lol)
It's on my Upper Right Arm next to a Sylvester The Cat face. Was hoping to get it done before the Wedding. My Dress is Strapless and i want it to look good on any Photos. Will see what Funds are left over.
I've also got an AC/DC Logo on my lower back but that needs re-colouring too. My body rejected the Blue Ink. :bbcry:

I have wanted a specific tattoo, I just haven't committed yet. The violin F holes (those curly openings on either sides of the strings) on my back, because I play the violin. They'd be on my back in the same place they are on the violin, as the violin sort of mimics the curve of a body (waist/hips). I think I posted about it here somewhere else. But what color? Black is a bit too dark I think.

I will have my Japanese piece, complete with cherry blossoms, a geisha, and Japanese buildings...can't wait! hahaha
My back piece will be a Japanese style mural. it won't be a SOLID backpiece, but done more like a "scene" -- very light, airy and feminine. I'm going to incorporate a lotus with the existing piece (which is well below "see" level) then at my waist, toward the left side, I'll have a Baku (if you've ever read the children's book "The Dream Eater," that's what he'll be taken from), kind of frolicking, batting at falling cherry blossoms. From the opposite shoulder, I'll have a cherry tree branch, with blossoms... so the blossoms and petals will kind of float down across my back.
There's also a piece FH and I have been working on for almost three years that we'll get to commemorate the wedding. They'll be similar to each other, but not identical... no initials, no dates, just something that's meaningful to US.

I got my rook pierced about two years ago. I LOVE IT! It took about 6-8 months to heal. I could go for something new though. I'm thinking about an anti-helix or a tragus. Anybody have either or these...opinions??

I do have my tragus...not an anti-helix though, thought about it though...I too have had my rook as well and I LOVE it....it took forever to heal though!
I do like my tragus, I had it pierced with a ring but have since changed it to a stud (they actually used a small curved bar, similar to an eyebrow one) I do like it, it sometimes gets in the way though, like with headphones and Q-tips! hahaha

Here's all my earrings as well!
Industrial bent by my piercer, tragus with a stud, 3 regular piercings, and a 2 gauge in the bottom hole.

Cartilage orbital in top, rook on the inside, conch orbital in the middle, 3 regular piercings and a 2 gauge in the bottom hole.

The ones I think hurt the most was either the industrial or the rook...I actually almost passed out with the rook...and I don't pass out! hahaha
I am insanely jealous! I love everything you guys have posted. I'm a bit of a tattoo/piercing junky who just has her ears pierced...and just one hole at that. Maybe one day I'll have the nerve for something, anything else! Chad has tats & piercings so I just live vicariously through him. His next piece is going to be a Vargas girl. Love it!
Oh, Chad has his tragus pierced and loves it. He said it was the least painful of his piercings (tongue and nipples). Atleast once a week some random person asks him if it hurt. Strange. I just think it's really hot! ;) LOL

Love! And my industrial was painful too! I mean ya know, here we go I'm gonna shove this big hollow needle through the toughest part of your ear! Twice! And then pull the bar through, twice! Mine bled. I didn't mind but the people on my bus probably weren't loving having to look at it haha.
I am envious. I am so sad I had to take mine out. I still have the bar and glance at it every so often and sigh.

It just wasn't healing, even after about 10 mths. At first it was doing great but when I went back to get a shorter bar he told me to hold off. And then again. And then it had been much longer than I was supposed to have the long bar and he was like "Ok, let's put in the shorter bar so you don't knock against it as much" but it didn't matter. I had to wash it with special soap and put aspirin paste and tea tree oil and chamomile tea and god knows what on it several times a day.
It wasn't infected, but would still get sore and I couldn't lay on it and oh gosh, in the end it was just so much effort to keep it looking normal. And then you could tell scar tissue was forming because the area around it got bigger and tougher. I had moved across the country at this point and so couldn't go back to my piercer and didn't know any piercers in this small town. So I figured I could keep babying it and maybe it would finally heal or I could just take it out and move on. Sucks because usually I'm a fast healer.

This is mine. This picture was taken over a year go. Every one is on bed so no one to try to take a better picture right now.
This was a test for me. I want one on my lower back. It will cost alot and take a while so not sure when I will ever have the money for it. I don't even have the exact picture of what I want yet. I have it in my head but I am no artist lol.
I got this back in 2003 I think. The colors have not faded all that much. It is right on the back of my right shoulder. You can see it so good when I wear a tank top.
Sorry it is blurry. This was my first and the guy who did it was out of NY. Here where I live we have a Bike Week. So many Tattoo Artists come to make money and they make a killing. The guy was great. Made it as big and as colorful as I wanted for the same price. I had to get this one first to make usre I could withstand getting one at all before I get my big one. If I ever get it.

Great ink! I love all the Tim Burton stuff - so original. :)
I have but one...but it's the only thing I've wanted thus far - just a date 2.29.00 - on my left wrist - leap day and the day the "last" Smashing Pumpkins album came out.
Didn't see that comeback coming...haha.
No, but it was a good day too. Took the CD and drove up the coast and listened to it - at some point in the road I had this amazing moment of clarity where I realized everything happens for a reason and nothing is hurting me right this second...so the tattoo is my reminder of that. And of the Smashing Pumpkins of old.
I'm going to have my wedding date tattooed on my other wrist probably.
It has to mean something! :)

I have another besides the big oen of a Unicorn with wings that I woudl love to get.
My husband and I met on line and came across a picture one day and sent it to me and asked me what I thought it was. I was dumbfounded and he had to tell me. I mean all I saw was a swirling rainbow. My name is this same one, rainbowtreat. His was downwardspiral. The picture was of a spiral rainbow. I still have it on my computer and one day I will get that as a tattoo. Not sure where yes.
I like the idea of the wedding date. Maybe I could get that around the spiral rainbow some how.

I have a sun/moon tattoo on my upper back that I'm not in love with. I'm going to get it reworked into something a little more dramatic. Right now it looks to UNoriginal, you know what I mean? Other than that, DH and I are someday going to get tattoos to commemorate US, but we don't exactly know what yet. Whatever it will be, it will be something that we can add to as we have children. IE, a branch that we can add leaves to, etc. (one of our ideas).
I did have my rook pierced also, and it HURT as well. But my ear rejected it and I had to take it out. :( I also had a labret that I loved, but I had to take it out for work, and it closed up in an hour, no joke. AND I've had a "down there" piercing, but it took too long to heal.... darn my body!!! :snide: I've got my lower belly button pierced.
Oh! And my ears are 00gauge. I love them and they WILL get bigger.

It's refreshing to see brides that aren't being bashed for being a little 'outside the box' on their appearance. I work as a body piercer and get comments all the time about my ring, and then... "Are you going to take out all your piercings for your wedding? And what about those tattoos?"... ugh. It drives me up a wall.
I sort've feel like, if people want to come to my wedding, then -hopefully- they are coming because they love me and the FH, piercings and tattoos or not :grinhappy: . Bleh.
I'll have to post a few of my mods later. Nice to meet all you ladies!

Well, my mom finally got her tattoo done. She's been wanting a tatt for a long time, and finally last night she had the guy come out and do it for her.
I'm kinda, okay, REALLY bummed at the quality - or lack thereof - but she loves it and that's what matters.
HOWEVER!!!!! Get this! They put the WRONG DATE!!!!!!!! Thank GOD it was only a 7 when it's supposed to be a 2 - easy fix. (The first 7 is supposed to be a 2, for 4-2-07). And WTF, why did she put 4-07-07 and not 04-07-07. Ugh that drives me nuts, but as long as she doesn't care, it doesn't matter if it drives me nuts! :D

Glad your Mom likes her tattoo. I hope they will fix the number mistake for her. She wrote it wrong or the guy just did it wrong?
As for the quality; well I would not be happy, but I have seen worse. I would not go back to this guy if she gets anymore.
Any idea what she paid for that?

I guess they had a 'rough draft' of the whole tatt that she agreed to - and it had the right date on it she says. So the guy just put the wrong date.
I asked her WTF is up with him and she says "It was late and dark outside".
WTF is right - she was getting it done outside at 11pm (the guy came to her work because she couldn't leave the premises).
I don't know what she paid, but I'm going to find out.

I certainly wouldn't have gotten a tattoo outside in the dark either :bbeek:

She runs a boys' home, so the boys were in bed, but she couldn't leave grounds because there was no other 'qualified' adult on grounds.
Yeah, I hope it heals nicer than it looks now - and hopefully she gets it fixed sooner than later.

I've finally decided what I want for a tatt.... now it's a matter of where, when, and coming up with the dough to pay for it :)

It's hard to explain - I may have tried to explain it on here somewhere but I don't remember. Definitely a cross.... made from 3 nails (similar to the one below, with an American flag draped around it - either wrapped or draped, not sure yet. I want "In God We Trust" - In God on top, and We Trust underneath, and I want my brother's name on one of the stripes in the flag. I've got quite a few negative responses about it from some friends and family - but the whole point in me taking 6 years to decide on one is that it's MY design, MY idea, MY choice... and I love it, so that's what I want to do. Now... where I'm going to put it is another story... not sure 'bout that yet. That'll take another 6 years

Yeah, you definitely have to be sure you are going to be happy with it; you are the one that has to carry it with you forever ;)
I have a couple that I wish I had thought more on, but I will cover them one day ;)

That's why it took me near on ten years to find something i wanted. Had to look through hundreds of pictures of others. Then take elements from theirs to make mine.
Original Tattoo. Which was facing the other way. That's why to writing at the bottom is back to front. I flipped it on the PC.
