So I've been hanging around for awhile, chatting here and there and finally I decided to start my own journal. Love all of ya'll already, and I can't wait to get to know more about all of ya'll and your SO.
About me:
I'm 21 years old. I'm going to be attending my last year of college at Oklahoma State in Stillwater. I'm an animal science major, so I spend most of my time riding and training horses, which I hope to continue to do for a living out at my 600 acre ranch in West Texas.
About my Fiancee:
His name is Scott, he is also 21. He is also attending his last year of college, but at Baylor. (Yes we are long distance and high school sweethearts!) He loves to work on cars, go hunting, camping, fishing, riding horses with me, etc...basically your all around outdoorsy guy! He's also very smart, he's majoring in math, thank goodness I'll be marrying someone who is good in that subject!
How we met:
I met Scott through my best friend. She was dating him (Scott) and I was dating someone else. We (us girls) decided that it was not working out for us, so we switched boyfriends! Yes, we are still friends to this day, she's even going to be a bridesmaid.
How he proposed:
We had been dating for more than 3 and a half years. In January 2008, he asked me if I would like to go to Hawaii this summer. I had never been, and was very excited, but also very nervous because I am a nervous flyer. Well during his spring break, he was out hunting at my ranch and my parents happened to be there as well. (I was still stuck at school during the week he had off). He asked them if he could marry me and got my grandmother's ring from them.
Fast forward several months later. We went to dinner at a really nice steak place right on Waikiki beach. After dinner, he asked if I wanted to go watch the sunset. So we walked for awhile and got to the end of one of those rock piers. We stood and watched it for awhile. After that he asked if I wanted to continue walking along the beach. Which, we walked for probably 3 or more hours. The whole way talking about love and romance and all that. He must have had some glow on his face because one guy even asked us if we were honeymooners! Finally, it was dark out with the moon way above us. We were both barefoot and he walked me out to the end of a sand bar where it was quiet. He pulled me into a hug and started kissing my forehead. Then he whispered in my ear as he was fumbling for something in his pocket. Before I knew it, he was on one knee and asking me to marry him! I was so excited I could not even talk, so I just nodded yes and here we are today!
Here are a few pictures of us in Hawaii! (sorry these are kind of big!)

We went back a couple of days later to the exact spot so we could get some pictures in the day time of where he proposed.
