Share your self-portraits

DH and I have recently taken on a self-portrait project, and I thought it would be fun to share them.

They were originally created because we're going to be profiled in the Houston Chronicle...and we're dealing with an editor that apparently doesn't like trampolines or nose picking. The first two were rejected, and we're waiting to hear back about the third. But I love them all, especially the second one.

I have noooo idea about the actions. DH is the post-processing man. I could ask him, but I'm sure he'd say something that goes right over my head :D

Where were you guys hiking? It's such a sweet contrast between the flowers and rocks.

we are horrible at taking self portraits. one of us always ends up with a goofy face or one of us is cut off. But these are a couple my favorites we got on our honeymoon in Bora Bora.

Here's a picture we took ourselves on a rope bridge in Hawaii after a luau. Let's just say that it is very funny and very difficult to walk over a rope bridge when you are intoxicated. Nonetheless, we had to walk over it about 6 times because we found it so fun.

It started when we first got together ...... anytime we are staying at a motel, we put the cam on a tripod, set the self timer and make a run for the bed. We have a large collection of photos just like these, dating back to 2001.

We were in the Goat Rocks Wilderness (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goat_Rocks_Wilderness). We hike there every year over Labor Day. We were at about 6000 feet in that picture - so even though it was September, the spring flowers were out since the snow had just melted!

awww thank you. the last one is actually a modeling one but i don't do that anymore. it got old real quick having people pick at you and walking around feeling insecure 24/7 so i quit.... fixed that problem real quick.
