Alright everyone, I have a dilemma...I'm looking to surprise my husband with something sent to his work...
Flowers are too feminine
Balloons are a huge no because of the materials he works with.
And of course...those naughty baskets are clearly inappropriate...
I want to send him something from a professional...It's an inside running joke...
Hmm...Anyone ever sent anything to thier Significant other and would like to share/let me steal their idea)

How about a Cookie Bouquet?

are either of these places close to you?
or
http://www.ediblearrangements.com/
Or send him a manly bouquet of flowers- use exotics like proteas

What about a food basket? Or...to be funny, a fruit basket?

something from a professional???????? a working professional? what kind of professional may I ask? :ooh:
I have not done it (yet) but I have often thought it would be fun to send a singing telegram to his office. :)

Surely theres a place on the Web that sells Sexy Underwear that's fashioned into a Rose.
I did find a picture of a "PantyRose" on Google but can't connect to the website link.
To his workmates it will look like a normal Rose. But when you unravel it you can use your imagination :winktongue:

One Valentine's day I sent DH a heart-shaped pizza from Papa John's. I bet if you asked nicely, just about any pizza place could do that.

LOL it's hilarious that I happened to see this today :-P I have been with FH for 5 years (our anniversary is Friday). I always wanted to send him something at work, and thought that our anniversary would be a great time! I didn't want to send flowers, because he wouldn't appreciate them. I thought maybe I would send him lunch from his favorite place, but then he'd be eating alone (I can't meet him because my car JUST bit the dust!). SO I decided to order food for everyone in his "group" (it's 8 people total, so no big deal). I thought he'd be really pleased to be able to spend some down time with the people he works with (he likes them all). I think it's more about just showing him how much he means to me by giving him all that I can here and there. I stopped by the restaurant today (while using FH's car) and asked them to include a note to him as to WHY I decided to treat his whole office for OUR anniversary :-P Sort of silly, but I think he'll like it.

That is sweet and thoughtful. Wish i could do something like that for FH. But he works all over the City of London and i never know where he is from one day to the next. Some days he could be in Five different places throughout the day. Anywhere from the West End, to the East End. South of the River or even in "Posh" North London.
Sometimes he takes Lunch with him and i slip a little Love Note or Poem in with his Sarnies. :winktongue:

See, I thought about it and then decided that he'd think I was testing him and there goes all of the enjoyment (and my money!!) ;) LOL

+1 There are companies that do "snack" baskets... various candy bars, cookies, pretzels, etc.... you tell them his preferences, and they tailor it to the recipient.
