Why can't he just sign these :censored: divorce papers!!! Urrrrgh! I have done everything I can and I am just all cried out! I can't even cry any more! My FH and I cannot really make things official until he signs these papers!!! I have a private lawyer which is getting ready to charge me about a 1000.00 because he has to hire a private detective to find him so that we can serve him,why? He already knows cause I told him!I told him when he came back to Alabama that I am with someone else and have been the last 2yrs.I have been tied to this jacka$$on paper for 4yrs! I think that is long enough.I just want to get on with my life!!!!!!

I only have this problem when the lawyer calls and I was just talking to him..It is really bugging me.Cause he didn't want us! He didn't want me or my son and now for the last two years my sons and I have had a man in our lives.My FH adores my son and he loves all of me.It's not fair.I want to go on and he just pops up once a year for about 2 or 3 months and brings a burden into my life.

Does Alabama have one signature divorces? Here we do and if you cant find your ex, all you have to do is either post a paper (that you get from the courthouse) on the front door of the court house, or in some counties, you put an ad in the newspaper where his last known address was (again you get this paperwork from the courthouse) and after I think its 20 days, if theres been no response from either him or an attorney, you are able to be granted a divorce.

See here, you have to make an attempt to serve first and it has got to be documented.Then after 60days you can prin it in the news paper.Then he gets 30days to answer.Then after that the judge grants a default judgement and you can get the divorce.But everytime you reach the time limit, you have to pay more money in order to do the next step.That's why I have also been on the legal aid waiting list.

:bblol: lol.I needed that soo much.I can't even tell you.It's just...jeez I haven't tried to put him in child support or anything.I never asked him for anything.Now I figure he could at least grant me and the baby this one thing.He hasn't done anything for the baby since he was born,at least he could give him a fair chance at having a happy life and my FH as his father.Ya know he should want to do something right in his life.

I wish youluck. I got lucky. After filing for my divorce it took 3 months and if my ex didnt respond then that ment he defaulted. He wasnt even there at the court hosue when I went before the judge. It was just me and my lawyer. Again good luck. We wish you the ebst.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.I spoke with the legal services office and get this..........................THEY'VE SENT MY PAPERS IN THE MAIL!!!!!!! Now I don't know how much time it will take,but oh I am really!

My FH and I have a fav song and we use it when we are going through.
"It will work out for the good of them who loves the Lord" and it really does ladies, i really does.
