Hello ladies I am new to OW... I though I would share some of my wedding day pics with all of you and give a little into of my DH and myself.

How we met ~ We met in an AOL chat room. It was love at first words typed. We always laugh because our first convertion on the computer was talking about running to Vegas and eloping...We emailed back and forth for a month or so then began talking on the phone. We would talk for hours on end. We finally met face to face June 26, 2003. We hit it off right away and exchanged our first "I Love You's" a week after we met face to face. Some would say we rushed it, but in our hearts we knew we loved each other before we even met face to face. We were together all the time like normal couples are, our first time we were apart was the loneliest four days of my life. He went to New York with his mom on vacation. I started a count down to the day he would come back on my little dry erase board for everyone to see. He ended up coming back a day later then expected because his plane got delayed and had to take the next day flight. After getting off the plane, he got in his car and drove 45 mins to come see me. Our first vacation we went to Wisconsin Dells together. I was so sick, but I wasn't missing out on our time away together. I ended up with bronchitis and a sinus infection before we left, I feel asleep on his chest for three hours and didn't even move. Just sat and watched me sleep.That to this day is one of my most favorite memories of us. That to is one of the most loving things he has done for me. It showed me that he would take care of me and be there for me when times were ruff. That was the moment that convinced me I was going to marry him. So I bought my dress even before he asked me..:o

The Proposel ~ We went to a bed and breakfast for a weekend get away. It was late November, 2003. I told him I was steping out side for a momant and he asked me when I come back if I could knock on the door three times. I thought to my self that was a wierd request. But I did as he asked. When I walked in to the room, there was a path of purple rose petels (my favorite color) to the bed. He was standing there and asked me to sit down on the bed so I did. He then began to read me the Cinderella story. When he was done, He tapped on the wall and said " do you hear that?" I said " No"
He then brought out a Cinderella carriage with a note tucked into it. That is when he got on one knee and read me the note that said he knew we had something special from day one and that he wanted to make me his Cinderella and give me the fairytale life. That he loved me and wanted to take the rest our lives to show me how much I ment to him and then asked me to be his wife. I said yes and kissed him alot and cried. It was the happiest moment of my life.

Our Wedding Day ~ It took us another 2 years to get to our wedding day. Our rehearsal went really well, everyone showed up on time, which amazed me since 95% of my wedding party is never on time. We gave each attendant a little gift. The girls got necklaces and earings the guys got mugs. And my 5 year old flower girl fell in love with the 10 year old ring boy. She followed him eveywhere.
Finally the wedding day, Everything went really well. I wasn't nervous at all, I had all my girls and went for breakfast after our hair and makeup were set. The guys on the other hand had issue's. Leave it to the men. My DH was trying to move in to our house we bought two months before ( he didn't live with me before hand)One of our ushers showers broke the morning of our wedding so he had to go to my DH house and use his. The other guys couldn't eather tie a tie or had no motivation to get to the church. My DH couldn't stay out of the bathroom. When they finally got thier stuff together they made it to the church. I do know the guys were very unorginized. As I met my father at the top of the alter getting ready to walk down the isle, I began to cry, my dad told me not to cry, I couldn't help it. I was so happy, my life was just beginning with my best friend, my sould mate, the man God made for me. It was all happy tears. The mass went wonderfully. We had two readings( one that was read by our realitor that sold us our house) as well as commuinon. The reception on the other hand was a major bummer. If I could redo that I would. The DJ was horriable, when he introduced us he mispronounced every single one of our attendants names, played music we never even discussed and was a total bore! The cake turned out just how I imagained and tasted even better. My DH and I had agreed on our first song we would dance to as husband and wife, I decided to change it and not let him know till we were on the dance floor. When the DJ said it was time for our first dance, I met him there and began to read him a note just like he did when he proposed to me. I told him I loved him and read my vows that I had written and told him that I had choosen another song that would be better suited for us. It was a song I had dedicated to him when we first met. As I was doing this my five year old flower girl was between us asking me " Auntie Faun, can I talk into the microphone?" it was so cute and funny.

Our Honeymoon~ We decided on four nights/ five days in Walt Disney World in Orlando. It was wonderfull. Once I get a chance I will post some photo's.

Two years later ~ We have settled into married life with our puppy. Married life has been so good to us. We have had a couple ruff patches, with the lost of my dad 6 months after the wedding and a lose of a close friend of ours a little while after that. We have made it through. If it wasn't for my hubby I would have been a total basket case with the lose of my dad.

My advice for the brides to be would be to BREATH! Don't sweat the small stuff, everything will come together even at times you think it won't. Your wedding day is about your and your soon to be DH. Some things will go wrong and not the way you would hope for them to go. This is the happiest day of your life. Enjoy it, it goes by way to quickly. All this planning and its done in a blink of an eye. Then you settle into married life. Where as I have discovered my DH seems to watch ESPN way to often, likes to put the dishes in the sink when the dishwasher is two inches to his left:irked: and always leaves the garbage can full on the day garbage goes out. But he never fails to take out the rest of the garbage that needs to go out:hothead: Atleast he puts down the toilet seat:D
