Don't worry Shawna! Well...both Shawnas! First Shawna, we expect you to be hectic...we'd probably be worried if you weren't. And second Shawna, I haven't gotten mine yet either, so you're not alone. The suspense is killing me though! :)

Think that's bad...one of our invitations got lost in the mail. Not kidding! And it was one that was going to my psuedo-grandmother who lives with her daughter (my previously mentioned obnoxious aunt)! So everyone else in the household got an invitation EXCEPT her! I felt so bad! :(

Well, we sent them out about two weeks ago, so ya, it could technically still show up, but I'm not holding my breath.

Gotta love postal systems eh!! I had something coming for the wedding (our cake topper) from the US and it ended up in a store!! The people in the store didn't even try to contact us to tell us it was there!! I was choked!! Canada post wouldn't tell me where it was because I was only the reciever!! How messed up is that???? So I had to call the girl from ebay that I bought it and she had to track it through the US postal system and then with the canadian postal system! By the time I got it I was so stressed and thinking it WOULD NEVER be seen or heard from again! I could have killed the woman when I went to pick it up she's all happy and like "oh!! We were wondering when someone would pick it up!! " I wanted to scream at her, "lady pick up fricken phone book!!" We lived in a pretty small town at the time anyhow! But yeah....grr.... I hate postal services!!

He He He i have to chime in here on the postal system. Cause just recently Mark had a funny thing happen with it and work.
He ordered a part for fix a bass amp at work and it was taking FOREVER to get there so he called the company and asked what was going on with it. Turns out it was delivered to the wrong store. The lady on the phone said 'Oh you might know him, its Joe Shmoe' I can't remember the actaul name.
Anyways. Mark couldn't think of who it was. She then proceeded to say "Well... Do you think you could just swing by and get it?" Mark says.... well, where is it? Thinking maybe it was not far from them. She then tell hims "It says Moose Jaw... SK..?" He then said to her "Ohh.... Saskatchewan. Yah. No i can't go pick that up." She askes if it was far.... He told her it was about a 3 day drive from where we are which is just north of Toronto Ontario.

Well, while we are sharing postal stories, I could tell you all kinds. That's what I do. The company I work for ships everything from tiny nuts and bolts to humongous tool boxes and I'm the person they come running to if something is lost or dinked or dented. I swear it makes you not want to send ANYTHING...EVER! I am so worried about the stuff I have in the mail right now...not to mention they leave it at my neighbors downstairs and my neighbors are not nice enough to say it's down there. They just leave it there or take it in and I never see it again. So my shawl for the wedding and my cups I am on red alert for! :)

Although, on a plus side, I have an insider at UPS who is going to shepherd my stuff through the system when it's sent UPS. :)
