I went for my dress fitting today and they told me i lost too much weight that i needed a smaller size.. they didn't have a smaller size that i needed so i had to stick with my dress or a totally different one.. and instead of being sleevless i need the sleeves to help hold it up, if they take it in the fabric starts to bunch.. :sob: let me know what you guys think!! :)

Could you see if that store can call another store and see if they have a smaller size?

I'm seriously giving myself panic attacks about it..:sob: saying it look like a marshmallow now.. I think it looks like I'm floating maybe it's too high of a hem or is that okay? I do plan on taking my shoes off to dance and putting on flats but otherwise I'm wearing those heels and will be that height.

Counting points with weight watchers.. (Did it on my own didn't join) I also ate a lot fiber, fresh vegetables, and fruit.

Very True!!!! :grinhappy: I do have a stomach condition called pancreatitis so I am scared I would get an attack from anything too tight so maybe it's a blessing in a weird way!! :D

Very interesting. How did you get their point system? Is it posted online? I'd be interested in trying that out. Not that I need to lose a lot, but you can't blame me for wanting to look good in my wedding dress and on the honeymoon!

My Dress at the moment is about Two Inches dragging on the ground. (Add another Four Inches if i take my heels off)
I intend to take the Dress up so it's a good Inch OFF the ground. No point in getting it stained or heaven forbid, caught and ripped on something. So i don't see yours as "Floating".

Anyhow, you'll be on Cloud Nine already so a glimpse of sexy shoe underneath wont matter one iota.

Your Dress looks great and you are going to look Wonderful on the day.

Good Luck.

I'm sorry, but I think your dress DOES look too big. If only we all could have such problems!! Could you check out eBay to find a smaller dress that didn't cost so much $$? Or an online shop? I know David's Bridal has dresses you can order online...

Congrats on the weight loss!

I told them not to alter to my dress because honestly all they were going to do was bustle, hem, and add shoulder straps. I am going to look for a different dress on Wednesday because they do not have that one available in a smaller size :(

Good luck with the new dress hunt!

(I HOPE this doesn't happen to me - I lost about 10 lbs recently.)

if you have an alfred angelo nearby you could try there. I had tried on some really nice dresses, nothing too fancy but they were around $250. Also I saw on tv that david's bridal is having their famous $99 sale. I think it is until July 21st. Good Luck!! And please share how you came across the point system.
