I have a question. I know that there is a postcard exchange, which I missed by a day (I'm in the next round though).

What I was wondering, is if there is anything going that we can send congrats cards to the brides when thier big day comes.

I have only been in this site a few months, and haven't gotten to know that many people here, but I can say that I have really benifitted from the support here. It's been wonderful to express concerns, and such, and know that there are many many women who are going thru it just the same. I personally would love to send little 'congrats' cards, and didn't know if anyone else wanted to do the same??

Thank you ladies for the care and support that you all show to me, and everyone on here!!!

I think that is a great idea, Heather. I would be all for it.

I was just thinking about it last night, and am not sure how to go about it. Maybe we can all send the addresses to one person, like the postcard exchange, and then email it to those interested.

Yeah something like that would work or we could always send the e cards if nobody wants to take the responsibility.

I would be willing to do it.

Well, I guess anyone who wants to get involved can IM me with thier names, addresses, and date, and I can either send the info thru here, or regular email, and just keep track of it.

Or is there a better way to do it? I have never done anything like this.

Heather, I have an idea......There could be a thread started and anyone interested in receiving cards can post their addresses. If they would prefer just e-cards, they can post their emails. If someone wants to send a card they can just look up the thread, find the address they are looking for and VOILA!

That works too. Should I go ahead and start that thread??

If you want.....or you could wait and get more input. Someone may have a better idea.

I personally would rather not put my address on a thread. Anyone can view the thread. I would rather do a PM.

Well you can put in your post, PM me for my address. If its not anyone you want having it you dont have to give it. I can see a lot of people doing it this way!

That would be better. I just don't want anyone who just stumbles onto this site to have my address. I got that weird PM that one time and so did someone else, and that is not the kind of person I want to have my address.

That is a good point Kacie. I guess we can just PM anyone that we would like to exchange w. It's a bit more work, but it IS worth not having private info posted where the wrong person may find it.

I have to agree with the other girls. I don't want the world to know my address.
But maybe if we start a thread to just let eachother know who is interested in it and that they can send you a PM for the address. Or if one person keeps all the addresses and then just post that that one person can send you a list of addresses. That way it keeps an element of surprise for it all. I will volunteer to be the keeper of the list.

I thought it was you CanadianBride that got the other weird post. I didn't want to say it and then it turns out to be someone else and I'd look stupid.
