....or even just a unique twist on the traditional champagne toast, let me make a suggestion:
PAMA (a pomegranate liquor) and Champagne is AMAZINGLY tasty... just a splash gives the champagne a unique flavor, and a rosy/plummy colored tint. It's absolutely delicious (and pretty, too!)....
A splash of Pama is also great in your Mimosas.... :)

Strangely, I got turned onto it at Epcot a couple months ago; we were there with friends, and we stopped in 'France' to get a drink.... I decided to try the Pama and Champagne (I think there's a name for the drink, but I can't recall what it is).... LOVED it.
So this past weekend, we were down in Fort Lauderdale with the same friends who were at Epcot with us. Somehow the Pama and Champagne came up in discussion, so we trotted out to the store to pick some up.... SOOOOOO yummy. (then Sunday morning, since we had an extra bottle of champagne, we made mimosas, and tried a splash of it in those, too... SOOOO good!)
I've been meaning to try pomegranate martinis... now that I've got most of a bottle of this stuff leftover, I'll have to try making some!!

I've had those martini's at Olive Garden. They were delicious!!
I tried a new drink (not trying to hijack or anything...this just made me think of it). It is made with tequila, peach schnaaps, sweet & sour, and a splash of coke. It is even better than delicious...refreshing...kind of like peach long island ice tea!!

WHOAH... sounds yummy AND dangerous!!
We have these friends who make this HORRIBLY dangerous drink at every party... you take a 20 ounce Solo cup, fill it with a handful of ice. Pour Rock Star energy drink (either the regular, or the "juice" once) just to cover the ice. Fill the rest of the cup about halfway with Mountain Dew, then half again with Captain Morgan, and then a splash of Amaretto... stir and sip with a straw.
Holy ****... GOOD stuff, but it tastes so mild and ends up kicking your butt (I don't recommend more than a glass... or two).

I found my favorite drink at Bennigan's: Death by Chocolate Martini. It's sooo yummy! :grinhappy:
You need:
Bailey's - 1 1/2 oz
Godiva - 1 1/2 oz
Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka - 1 oz
Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
Drizzle syrup around a chilled cocktail glass and set aside. Mix Bailey's, Godiva, and Smirnoff into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake vigorously and strain into the set aside cocktail glass. Serve.
You don't have to buy the name brand stuff...it still tastes the same but saves you some money:D

Some of my favs -
Anyone ever had an alchohol milk shake? Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Simply choose your fav ice cream and pick a liqueur to compliment it - ie chocolate icecream and creme de menthe, vanilla ice cream and cointreau ....
How about a fudgicle anyone - Keep the bottles in your freezer and mix up equal parts of vanilla vodca and creme de cocoa.
Alchohol slushie ... lol get a slushie in your favourite flavour, from your corner store and add rum, gin, or vodca. My brother rented a slushie machine for one pool party and we just filled the cups as we needed a refresher. Too cool :)

Ohhhh I loooooove Chocolate Martinis.
SC - LMAO @ the alcoholic slushies. I have to giggle, cus in LA and TX, they have "adult snow cone stands." Basically it's just what you're talking about -- a fruity slushy with alcohol in it... and they're DRIVE through... weirdest darn thing (but they're tasty -- and cheap!)

There's a company here called Rollin' Ritas that's VERY popular at wedding receptions... they do Margaritas and Daquiris, they come set it up, run the machines, clean it up and take them away... we were planning on using them for our wedding (and we might still for the reception/after party)

Mmm, can I have one RIGHT NOW? :)
Ohhh I have not seen those adult snocone stands. I'm diggin that idea! :D
I love pom martinis, but I've never had pom and champagne. OMG. Yum!
My favorite thing to mix up is Malibu rum, pineapple/coconut juice, and orange juice. Super simple, but good.

Oh I forgot about that drink. Yummmmm!!!!! We used grapefruit juice instead of coconut.
LOL It used to be my mid morning "juice" whenever we went camping with a group of friends BUT that was when I was young, without kids and could handle it!

Too funny. We discovered this when camping and wanting something simple and refreshing to have. And yes they started being poured shortly after the plain breakfast orange juice!

Ooh, I've had pomegranate liquor in wine before and it was YUMMAY! Our wedding colors are purple and silver, so I think this would be a really cool way to put a little more purple into our wedding :) Thanks for the idea!
