My Dress (with pic!)

So I've decided on my dress. For sure this time! I really mean it! The only thing I'm still iffy on is the color. I love the oyster color shown in the pic, but I've only seen it in person in ivory and I'm torn about which color to order. Opinions?

I love the darker color you posted, but I suppose it depends on your skin tone!

I have medium brown hair and dark eyes, but my skin is very pale.

absolutely beautiful! I like the color it is in the picture, looks so elegant! I had a similar problem when trying on gowns at the store, but they only had the ivory of the one i liked and not white, so i was having trouble deciding. May I ask who the designer is?

How did the ivory look on you? I have a similar complexion to yours, and anything ivory looks horrible on me.

The ivory was ok, better then the bright white. The white washes me out really badly which is why I thought maybe the oyster might me a good option. I'm a bit nervous though because the model is tanned so I can't even tell how it would look on someone with really pale skin.

I think based on what you described that color would look fine on you. If you wonder, why not go to a bridal shop and try on other dresses in that color?

I've been to House of Fashion, but I actually found this one at Bella Donna Bridal. I really loved that shop. The gals there were just very helpful, but low pressure. House of Fashion does carry Pronovias too, but I honestly liked the experience I had at Bella Donna better.

That's a good suggestion, Hope. I'll look around and see if I can find a shop that has anything at all in that color.

The color of the dress is beautiful. I think that it would go nice with every complexion. But keep in mind that I think any color on a wedding dress is prettier than white. I would go with the oyster color. I like ivory as well but I think that the oyster color is more regal.

I'm a Pronovias bride too, but mine was the La Sposa portion of the brand. Your dress is beautiful! My dress was ivory with white accents. I have pale skin and dark hair like you, but my eyes are light. I don't think I ever tried on any oyster color dresses though.

I would say definitely go with the white!!!!! I think anyone can wear white especially on their wedding day and look gorgeous!!!! I think darker complected girls look way beer in ivory though!!!!!
