Was working in the garden when i broke the nail on my Middle Finger on my Left Hand. My nails are normally long (approx 1 cm) But this time i broke it down to almost nothing.
So to stop it looking too obvious i ended up cutting the rest off to match. :bbcry:
My nails grow quick and thick and to break one takes some doing. For it to snap i have to hit it square on to something. Hence i lost the arguement with the garden fence. :bbeek:
I know they will grow back in time for the Wedding. I will never have false nails. But it's sure taking some getting used to without them.

I am your polar opposite. I bite my nails and so I am not used to having them at all. :)
I got acrylic nails before my wedding and continued for a little while (keeping them short) but they got in my way and I never did get used to them! I found that I couldn't paint easily or do simple things like tie a little bow LOL

That stinks that your nail broke. I envy your strong nails, though. Mine are very weak and and are constantly finding ways to get torn off... especially at work. I've never had them all at one time be longer than one millimeter... except when I had fake nails for prom.

I bite mine as well. I had fake nails for the wedding but I also used to wear them all the time untill I had the baby. I missed them for a while but I don't care now. I did my own and they would last about 2 weeks and then I would have to redo them.

It took me months to break the nail biting habit. Honestly I found that harder to quit then smoking!
I hear ya on the nail break thing. Mine are not overly strong, not overly weak, but I break them now and then. I always do the same and cut the rest off to be about even and it feels strange every single time.
The hubby is always biting his nails and I'm constantly swatting at his hands so he'll stop. LOL. You nail biters better watch out for me! :chair:Haha
