I know I've got a long time before walking down the aisle but I wanted to start a journal to keep all my ideas in one place. And after a weekend with my parents we finally have a couple of things finalized.
My parents are renovating the backyard of the house I grew up in. It sits on about 3/4 of an acre of land. For you non-country folk that's a little less than a square city block. So it's plenty big enough for the small informal ceremony and reception we wanted. We didn't even have to ask. They offered it to us as we were helping them do some yard work this past weekend.
In the background you can see the White Moutains including Mt. Washington. I really love the natural beauty of the area. :D
The best part is they are going to plant flowers and design things that not only compliment the natural beauty of the area, but also our color scheme (chocolate brown and raspberry pink). I'm super excited. Ill try to post some before pictures soon.
