Save the Date options (pictures!)

I'm not sure if these are considered DIY, but I did make the design, so I figure I'd post it here. I think I may have finally come up with something that I actually like, and I wanted to hear some opinions on it before I show FH. (I'm hoping there won't be any more kinks to work out by the time I show him.)

Sooo here's the original I came up with that's on my journal:

Pay no attention to the difference in dates, haha, we won't know it until hopefully Tuesday, so I'll fill that in with the right date then. And I took out the last names in both of them... hopefully that's not too distracting.

The one thing I don't like about the second one is that the Save the Date on the sides isn't very big... but hopefully it's noticable, being on the side. And the heart on the side was a very last minute thing... I was originally looking for hearts to put along side "Save the date" so that part would look fuller. Plus I'm not sure if the blue will be able to be read once it's printed out (at vista print).

Any opinions shall be greatly appreciated. :)

It's kind of jumbly with the words over your image. I'd keep the save the date text on the side, push the image next to it on the left, then put the date text on the right and drop the second save the date text. Probably keep the heart over the image.

I like it.. but like others said Im kinda ehhh with the words on your image..

Thanks for the replies! I wasn't sure if the words would look good on the picture or not. I kind of wanted the picture to be faded so it was easier to see the words, but I don't have photoshop or anything like that, that would do that. Would that look better? Or would it just look better to do put the picture on one side and the information on the other, as the first person said?

I like the second one WAY better!

I like the font on the second way a LOT better... it's easier to read, and I dont' think that the "save the dates" look too small... it looks good to me!
