I am going to a wedding tomorrow night and I bought a dress that I love. However, I have heard that you shouldn't wear white to a wedding. The dress is white, but it has a black pattern all over it. Is this O.K. to wear?

If you are worried about looking too "Bridal" who's to say that the Bride will be wearing White? I personally can't see anything wrong with it. As you said, it's got Black over it.

Put it on, go to the Wedding and have a great time.

I agree. It's not completely white, and I doubt it's a gown.

I agree; I'd wear it :)

If you're worried, why don't you ask the bride? That's what I would do.

Chances are, she won't have a problem with it, but better to be safe than sorry, right?

I wore a white dress with a black pattern and black straps to my friend's wedding. It was knee length. There is no way it competed with her floor-length, corseted, strapless, pickup satin gown. Go for it.

I think you should be okay!
