Ugh.. The pain.

I just want to rip out my tonsils.. it hurts SO bad ;-; I can't speak over a whisper, and every time i cough, swallow, or sneeze i feel like someones shoving a knife in my throat. :sob: It started around 8 last night, but i ignored it, because i just thought it was my allergies draining.. again. Well, it just kept getting worse, making me dizzy.. Kept me up all last night. Going to the doctors in a little while.. Cutting it super close to work.. :ooh: To be honest, i am freaking a little bit because of all the girls on here that have had to have their tonsils out! lol :bbredface:

Ugh.. It was strep. Just got back from the doctors.. The cr@ppy part is, because i go into work at 3, i don't have enough time to call off.. This should be fun! lol

I'm sorry to hear you have such a sore throat! Hopefully it gets better soon.

I've never had too bad of a problem with that (knock on wood). I've gotten sore throats but never not been able to talk because of it. I wish I could get my tonsils out though 'cause I've got tonsil stones... yuck.

Colloidal Silver is an excellent and natural remedy for any kind of sore throat, Strep included. ;)

Well, work pretty much told me i looked like poo, and sent me home 3 hours into my shift. Sucks cuz i was finally getting hours.. but i'm glad i went home. o.o; I am getting invitations done because of it, though. XD

Oh no! I was so prone to strep up until recently that I could go into my doctor's office and tell her I had strep and she'd practically throw the prescription at me.

I really feel for ya. Enjoy your popsicles and if you can, try to snag your hands on some zinc lozenges. Oh yeah, and REST!

Well, they gave me azithromycin for 6 days.. What ever that is! I think they also call it a Z pack? I swear, i can already feel a difference since this morning.. Yay for the doctors magic shots! lol

Yeah go to the doc! Last time that happened to me my tonsils swelled. I lost so much weight from not being able to eat because of the pain and that went on for a month untill they told me they might have to cut them off because I couldn't swallow the antibiotics they gave me. I wanted to die. I never got better because I would always go to work and didn't rest

haha, oh, mines not over work, so hopefully it gets better.. I'm lucky if i get 20 hours most the time..

No they eventually went away but I still get scared that it may come back and if they do I won't hesitate to get them cut off. I was in so much pain for almost a month wondering if it will get better the next day... I still can't get over that... Never again!
