G'Morning Ladies!
I was thinking of making flip flops for the girls to wear at the reception (wedding party girls) Anyone have pictures of decorated flip flops they're willing to share??
Thanks in advance,
Angee

Here are a couple of websites I found. this one has a lot. There are a couple of cute ideas on the first page. But they get a little crazy the farther you go

This one is bridal flip flops but you could use them for BMs too.

I love decorating flip flops. I've used buttons, sequins, funky yarn, fun flower gems and probably other odds & ends that I don't remember. I did use hot glue to decorate one pair but it didn't hold for the whole summer. I found a glue (don't remember where I bought it - Michael's or AC Moore) that was made specifically for embellishing flip flops. That stuff worked great. Yarn is my favorite thing to use because you don't really need to use any glue at all.

I didn't take pics or actually finish flip-flops for ALL of my girls (so none of them got them), but I made about 3 pairs using an exacto knife and ribbon. I cut slits into the top rubber and weaved the ribbon through. I got the directions at Hobby Lobby by the flip flops. The ones I made turned out really cute! I had brown flip-flops with bright pink/white polka dot ribbon.

Well, it's not an idea of decorating flip flops, but I saw this cute idea on a site. You get a bucket or pale and decorate as you wish and then put some flip flops in there for the guests or bridal party and put a little sign that reads, "Dancing Shoes." I thought it was different.

I know I'm set on flip flops for me personally for the reception. I'll probably make a fun pair for my MOHs too (I'm not having any BMs as there is only two of them).
