Hey guys, I just had to post that I got the quote back from the florist. It's only going to be $750 (for both my bouquets, two bridesmaids bouquets, 16 corsages, 12 bouts, and all the decorations for inside the church, outside the church, and the reception). I was expecting it to be much more expensive. Andrew's cousin said the cheapest place she found was $1300. She's already booked them and it's too late to go with someone else for her. But we went ahead and put a deposit down for this florist, Lisa. Plus she's really excited to try out some ideas she has for my male bridesman.

Sounds great!
What flowers are you planning to use?

My bouquet will have calla lilies, carnations, delphinium, and other filler flowers (different colors - but I haven't decided yet). The bridesmaids bouquets will be a smaller version of mine and I want theirs to be all white. The boutonnieres will be made of freesia and the corsages will be carnations. Andrew's boutonniere will be the only white one and everyone else's will be a different color. One of my bridesmaids is a guy, so I don't know about him having a colored bout while the other 'maids have all white flowers (but I don't want him and Andrew both to have white bouts either), so Lisa said she would try to think of something different for him.

You are really on top of things! I haven't even talked to any florists besides just chit chatting a little at the two bridal fairs I went to. I don't know what type of flowers I want. I just know I want sparkles in my bouquet and I want it to be red and I want my bridesmaids to carry white. That is all I know.

Hey, don't worry Kacie. As of tomorrow, me and Andrew have been engaged for one year. I have been ready to start booking things since then! So I've had a while to look at pictures and get some ideas of what I wanted. I bet with what you know you want already, a florist could suggest something you would like. I've heard a lot of florists can put sparklies in stephanotis (if you wanted white in your bouquet too).
