We made these within the past two days. Which ones should we use? Which one do you like best?

Sorry they're a little big. Number one is cute and shows us in our silly/casual side and shows our colors. Number two is a little more formal. Both were DIY (Except number one shows the monogram "WebLady" created. I love it so much! And Rick loved it too :)).

Also, any ideas on how to print them? Should we send them somewhere, get special paper (What kind of paper, that glossy picture kind?) print them ourselves or what? I'm dumb with these kind of things. Hehe.

Thanks.

I really like #1... BUT, I think both of them have too many fonts. I know you're probably trying to go for a fun, whimsical look, but the huge variety of fonts almost makes it look too busy and detracts from the photos (and the message!)

I agree with Nee. I love the photobooth look of number one, but you have too many fonts going on. Just unify the fonts and you're good to go!

I like the simpler look of #2... plus the picture is really cute! :)

Looks like you've got a good battles going on 5/5.

I love the first one, its very original and fun. I'd say just use two fonts instead of....all the different types though.

I love #1, but will agree with the other ladies about the fonts. One or two fun fonts would be better, and less distracting.

I like #1 but agree - two fonts max would look best. :)

Thanks for your advice! And now that I think of it, I agree.

Now, which fonts out of all of them should we use? :ooh:

Though, for our names I do want to keep the hand written look for both of them. I like that.

I'll have to think about this.

I like both, but I voted for #2 mostly because I just love that picture. I think you did an awesome job on both!

I like #2, I think the photobooth ones are overdone now!

As for the fonts, I like the handwriting used for your names in the second one, and the cutesy font used for your name in the first one.

I've gotten only a handufl of invites, and helped prepare another handful. I've never seen them done this way.

I thought it was very original.

Thanks.

I love the font on the third line: Wedding, and I also love the font that your name is used in. I would use those fonts, and if you want to be different for your names, I think it would look good in HIS font for both of the names.

I love #2. Simple, classic, and such a cute picture.

Definitely one font though.

I love the first one but maybe i'm partial because we did photobooth style ones too...we printed all of our on 8 1/2 X 11 magnet paper and then cut them all out...everyone love the magnets!!

here's a link for the paper we ordered
http://www.printonit.com/Inkjet-Magnet-s/59.htm

you might be able to find it somewhere else but this stuff worked really good!
good luck!!

Thank you guys for the font advice too.

I deff. want our names in a different "handwriting" font. And I love the photobooth idea. So I'm prob. going to pick the first one. Rick said he liked that one best out of both of them. So did my mom.

I personally love both (enough to consider hiring you to make ours!). To me, the first one is playful and the second one is romantic. So I would say that it depends on the feel of your wedding and the mood you're going for.

#2 definitely has a better impact, and yes, the photobooth thing is a little done. You might consider either taking the photo to full bleed (all the way to the edges) or putting some sort of framing element around it.

I think the idea of number one is adorable! BUT...I love the picture in number two (thats my vote :D) You did a great job on them either way!

I voted for number one. And I'd say don't decide not to use the first one because the idea is overused. If your family is anything like mine, they may not have even heard of Save the Dates. I don't think too many people who aren't planning weddings are aware of what's being used with Save the Dates... and even if they are, they're not going to mind seeing it used. I do agree on the font thing, though, otherwise they both look great!

I'm not voting because I like them both a lot, but if you want to use a handwriting font for the names, I would pair it with a sans-serif font for the rest!

I think futura or helvetica are good choices for the sans-serif.
