New Show on TLC

Hey everyone - there's a new show on TLC called Rock the Reception.

The couple meets with professional choreographers and choreograph an amazing & shocking first dance song. I just happened to come across this tonight - maybe it's not new but I've never seen it before. The choreographers are one of the husband/wife teams of choreographers from So You Think You Can Dance and the couple this week included their bridesmaids in the first dance...it was quite funny...when they started, jaws were dropping left and right but everyone loved it...

Just wanted to share!

Update - these are always the choreographers and a new season premieres July 15th on TLC.

Awesome - good luck....I remember seeing that couple that did their first dance to Baby Got Back on YouTube and on the Ellen Degeneres show - they got quite famous from it as one of their guests posted it on the net...lol

We are doing a fun dance for our first dance, but not for the show. Just because it is "us" I should watch the show and maybe get soem new ideas!

Yea, that show is premiering tonight at 8:30/7:30c on TLC. There is also another show starting it's second season tonight at 8/7c and it's Say Yes to the Dress. Both of these shows look funny. I remember that couple that danced to 'Baby Got Back' and it was all over YouTube. Soo funny. I would love to do something like that at my wedding! Lol.

I watched it last night! OMG. I got chills one the second one "Can't Touch This." It was sooooo awesome!!! I so wish I had a more outgoing hubby. That would've been so much fun to do! And the looks on the guests' faces were priceless!

You can check out the highlights on YouTube by searching rock the reception. . . . they are pretty awesome. I wish I had the courage for something like this. Alas, I can't dance very well, and knowing me I would trip and rip off my train on my LaBoutins!

I have to say ... I'm kinda disappointed with the show. I wish they did more current music, more hip-hop, more club, but I guess that's just my preference. But even the show format and all. It's just not capturing my attention. FH and I decided we don't want to be on it anymore ;)
