I'm looking for a wedding dress that looks like a purple version of Giselle's dress form the movie Enchanted.

Here's some reference pics:

Anyone know where I can find something like it?

Your best bet, since you're looking for purple, is going to be to look at bridesmaid dresses, and not wedding gowns.

This one looks similar in silhouette (though those two animation pics don't provide much detail). You could have a seamstress add sheer chiffon sleeves to achieve the full look:

Thanks guys! I forgot about ebay, but their sizes range from M-plus. I forgot to mention I'm a size 0.

D'oh!

I also check David's Bridal, but I can't figure out the navigation, even to try bridesmaid and prom.:sob:

I'm wearing Black to my Wedding so try looking for Prom Dresses or Bridesmaids. Good Luck.

I am wearing a red dress so I've had to pretty much forgo standard bridal shops. EBay for sure! Also, prom dresses like mitch mentioned, and just look for designer gowns, evening gowns, and maybe even quincenaera gowns (though those are usually very ballgowny). If you go with a bridesmaid dress I'd look at it in store. That's where I turned first and it's been my experience that they're often constructed in unflattering ways or have weird costumy fabric. I dunno, depends where you get them I guess.

Actually, even go to department store sites. Macy's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, etc. all sell evening gowns.

You can purchase a similar pattern and have a seamstress make it to your measurements! These are the closest patterns I could find...

I figured that was the way to go. I found a wholesale bridesmaid dress that just needs slits and shoulders (maybe a new ribbon)

I only have a couple purple wedding dress pics save but they are not really like that dress. The other girls have it right about looking for bridesmaid or evening gowns if you can't find a "wedding dress" in your color.
