View Full Version : Our Day at the Toronto Zoo!

We spent today at the Toronto Zoo. The weather started out pretty yucky, but a little rain never hurt anyone! Soon the clouds cleared and we had a pretty good day!

They had a new exhibit, that apparently travels from zoo to zoo every 5-6 months called "Stingray Bay". We paid $3 each and they let you into a dome with a huge saltwater tank thats about a foot deep. Its full of stingrays of all sizes. You wash your arms & hands and you can hang out there and touch/pet them all as they swim by! It's was AMAZING! They actually liked being pet and would swim right up to your hands.

Wow, those are all so cool! Makes me more excited for our honeymoon trip to the San Diego Zoo.

Looks like you had a fun time. I love going to zoos. We may have to stop there in August while we're on our road trip. We plan on spending a day in Toronto, just haven't decided what we're going to do there. I want to touch the stingrays, sounds neat!

UHHH!!! That looks so great. You really got good close-ups. In Oregon, we have a great Portland Zoo, but I would never be able to zoom that clsoe to the tiger. Your pictures are beautiful.

SNOW: BE CAREFUL!!! The tigers escape the cages over there in San Diego. I hope you come out alive. :D

Snow leopards are my favorite animals! They are beautiful up close. I wish I had a snow leopard kitty!
