Well, I have not been on here in a very long time.
So much has happened, some I would like to forget and others I am so happy about.
The week before my wedding was h**l, my bridesmaid pretty much ambushed me on to calling the wedding off b/c they said that Shawn was not good enough for me and he is a control freak etc. I spent 3 days in bed doing nothing. wouldn't eat, wouldn't talk to anyone. I was a wreak. I was in shock as to what happend. There was some information that the girls had heard and what started out with good intentions turned very bad. I was defending Shawn for everything. They wanted to know information that was none of their business, but found out b/c I didn't know what else to do. They wouldn't let me talk to Shawn or anything. 4 on 1 was not nice.
I knew and trusted Shawn and was going to marry him. We have been together for 8 years and have been through so much together. I was crushed to find out what people thought he was b/c they "heard" something.
We were married on May 10, 2008. It was a beautiful day. The day went by so fast that I couldn't believe when it was over. 11 months to plann, 11 hours to party and 11 years to recover LOL.
Some other news that I have, is that we are pregnant. Turns out that the reason my dress didn't quite fit right the day of the wedding, not pnly b/c of stress, but b/c I was 2 1/2 months pregnant. I didn't find out until 2 weeks ago. I am 3 1/2 months now. We are in shock b/c we were told that we couldn't have kids and we were okay with that. Some how things were right and here we are. I am in for a lot of tests now and scans just to make sure everything goes okay. I went for my first scan at the begining of this week.
I got to hear the heart beat, it was so neat. I work on a maternity floor, so hearing a baby's heart beat is nothing new, but it is so different when it is your own.
