Ok....so tomorrow is my appointment to do that lady's maternity pictures. Tis my first photo shoot for someone else - pictures that matter to someone! AAAAAAAAAACKKKK!!
Photogs (Brandi, help!), do you have any words of wisdom? Anything I should do special for something like this...other than be awesome? :bblol:
How should I give her the pictures afterwards? On a CD, I assume? And should I keep the photos in large format so she can print them if she wants to? Or do I resize them so they don't take a million years to load?
I'm SO nervous!

Yeah I guess a CD is fine unless you want to give her prints and withhold copyright.
Are you shooting outside or inside? If outside; beware of bright sun and harsh shadows and squinting.
Take a minute and "see" the shot; and take 2 or 3 of everything in case she blinks or something.
Be aware of how she looks; you want to flatter her; accentute the good and hide the not so good ;)
Let me find some shots I like to give you ideas; be right back ;)

I'm wishing more and more that I would have seen your 'backdrops for sale' post sooner! They were long gone by the time I read that. LOL

I have always thought these kind were nice; sort of artsy -

Here is one I did of my sister when she was preggers -

Of course these are studio shots; I assume you will be shooting outside.

Great shots. :grinhappy:
We'll actually be shooting both inside and out. It's supposed to be a little overcast tomorrow, so that'll work out great. No squinting!
I'll post what I come up with tomorrow. I hope I get some good ones!

Wow, that's just so exciting! I can imagine why you're nervous though! Brandi posted some beautiful shots. Good luck! Can't wait to hear all about the experience.

You could look at theshapeofamother.com. Most of the pics are taken at home but they have some professional ones and I think they have links to belly shots too. A popular one is to have the mom make her thumbs and forefingers into a heart right over her belly button. As to technical stuff... I couldn't tell ya. Good luck!
