my dress....

Well I have looked at a few dresses and I found one that I am absolutley IN LOVE with. Its a little more expensive than what I wanted to spend on a dress but I can handle that so I can have the dress I want.
So anyways, I was talking to FH last night about my dress and what style I want and yada yada. Well I had completley forgotten that his Aunt is a bridal gown seamstress and that she would probably LOVE to make my dress for me. Now I just have to think of how to ask her if she would make my dress for me. Hmmmmmm..... any suggestions.

Maybe you could show her a picture of the dress that you fell in love with and ask her if she may be able to replicate it. Tell her that it would be so meaningful to have a dress made by somebody that you know and love. You could even offer to pay her a small amount of money if that would make you feel more comfortable asking her. I would make sure she knows not to feel pressured and that if she doesn't feel comfortable taking on this project then that's fine as well.

Thank you. She made my FH cousins wifes wedding dress and it was the most beautiful dress I had seen up until I saw the dress i want yesterday.
The only thing I would feel bad about really is the dress i fell in love with is in my friends moms wedding shop, so i would feel bad about not buying the dress there BUT if I could save money and have my FH aunt make my dress I could buy something else like a tiara or a veil or something of that nature from my friends moms shop.
