Thinking about my Wedding Favours i went on eBay for a bit of inspiration.

I've already cut out the Circles from some Tulle (Butchered from an Old Wedding Dress) and was planning on just putting Sugared Almonds in and tying some black ribbon round to seal them.

But after looking on eBay i went into town, bought 50 plastic glasses slightly different design to these. (£1 for 10)

I'm hoping to make something similar to this.

Any thoughts?

Did you butcher the circles or butcher the dress?

If you butchered the circles - I have some white tulle circles around here (2 packs of 50 I think) that I don't mind sending to you if you want them.

We butchered the Dress. If anyone had walked in that day they would have thought we had gone mad. :bbeek:

I'm just trying to work out how to get them over the Stems of the Glasses now. So if i bugger it up i'll be emailing you for those spares. :winktongue:

Hmmmm I think those disposable plastic glasses are in two pieces are they not?

I dunno, i haven't opened the packaging yet. I suppose they will be in two pieces if i lose my patience and hit them with a Hammer :rofl:

BTW how big are your Tulle Circles?

Yeah, disposable plastic glasses come in two parts.. That's funny, I thought the same thing! I was sitting here, looking at the picture, thinking "Now how in the heck did they get that on there.. Maybe a slit and a wrap around?" Great minds think alike... :laugh:
