Now that I am home I can look at the penis straw pictures. They are too funny. I don't know what it is about penises that cracks the average person up, but it just does.

Then right before my dad and I walked down the aisle we had guests arriving late and teh church. I just struck up a conversation with them. My dad had to remind me that I needed to go because I was getting amrried and they needed to take their seats. That is when it hit me. "Holy :censored: I'm getting married. What did I get myself into!"

I'm pretty cslm right not because it just seem like our normal lives and once inawhile when I really think about it I'm getting married then I get all excited.... I'm thinking my major time is going to be the wedding day morning.... We are going to Vegas but not till Oct b/c that is when Bill could get his vac. WEre r u gouys going?

We're going to get Amber's trial makeup done today. And picking up her wedding dress after they put a bustle on it. And paying the balance on the venue. We also have to give our cake lady a sterling rose so she can match the cake to that color. We also have to do the placecards. I can't think of anything else. My honey had his bachelor party last night. All the guys met up at my house around 8pm, then they went to a strip club called Burbon Street. According to Jason he had a fantastic time, but all the guys kept feeding him shots and he threw up : ( After that they went to a dive bar, they stayed there for a few hours and then they came back to our house. One guy slept in Jason jr. room, one guy slept in our guest room, and another guy slept on the couch. It was funny...like a big slumberparty....except they were all drunk men...LMAO!! All in all he says it was great but he had to work this morning so I am pretty sure he is hurting now...

We are having a program and menu done. We weren't going to do it, but one of Amber's friends has volunteered to do it for her. She sent the proof over, and they are awesome. I will post a pic when I get them.

We are getting our nails and toes done either today or tomorrow. I am getting glitter nails done and Amber is getting a french manicure. Amber's will be real, but mine will be fake.

I had been to many different wedding websites, but Onewed was the only one that I felt motivated to post on. The very day I found Onewed, I started making Amber & Jason's wedding journal. I actually thought Amber was going to think it was dorky that I joined a wedding website, and even dorkier that I made a wedding journal, but she loved it!!! She joined right after I did, told everybody about the journal, and gave the website to everyone at her work.

Well, my daughter is getting married tomorrow. I can't believe it's almost here. We got almost everything done yesterday. Toes and nails done! My toes are a victorian lilac color so that I would stay with Amber's theme. They are so pretty!!! I don't think I will ever get used to typing with these nails on though! lol They are beautiful though!

I tried the tux on my grandbaby, doesn't he look adorable? They measured wrong on his sleeves though, we need to shorten those a little bit. Isn't his new hair cut cute too?

We love you both so much around here and could not be happier for you. it was absolutley PERFECT!!!! Nothing went wrong absolutley nothing. From beginning to end it was amazing. I cried during the ceremony and during a poem I read to my mother but that was really all. I was proud. My best friend Shannon and MOH did a toast that was soooo meaningful, she cried. My mom was pretty much balling walking me down the aisle I was trying to keep it together...LOL! The ceremony was quick and meaningful my officiant said it was very intense which I like. My bouquet was amazing, my cake took my breath away my baker did such a fantastic job. The food was so yummy, the chocolate fountain was delicious(I was there more times than I should have), the drinks were flowing and everyone was having such a great time.

I will be sending pics to my mom so she can load some for you ladies! Other than that I am still getting ready to leave tonight to Jamaica!! WOOHOO!!

Well, we did it!!! Amber is now Mrs. Curry! As Amber said, it was perfect! Everyone kept coming up to me and telling me that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I am so happy how it turned out!!!

We will be posting pics as soon as I get some. We had cameras at each table, I hope our guests used those. Jason had someone taking pics with his digital camera and a camcorder. My sister, Jody, was taking pics! The photographer was amazing!! She was taking pics of everything and she was so wonderful!!!

I first started crying when I heard, "Here comes the bride," because it was my baby girl who was the bride. Amber was scared, but she didn't cry then. :grinhappy: Amber read me a poem and she started crying reading it to me, and then I started crying. When we had the Mother Daughter dance, I cried then too, because it was such a meaningful song for me and Amber. It was, "I turn to you", by Christina Aguilera (the words are in our journal). I love that song, and it epitomizes the relationship I have with Amber. And Amber's MOH, Shannon, gave a speech and I cried because it was very emotional and Shannon cried too. Other than that, I made it through with a smile on my face!!! LOL!!! :D

The parts I loved about the wedding...
My grandbaby walked down the aisle with the flower girl all by themselves. This was after at the rehearsal when he refused to do it and threw a fit about it. We never thought he was going to do it. He not only walked down alone with her, but Cambrea didn't throw any petals, so Malachi took the petals out of the basket and threw them for her!!! OMG, isn't that the sweetest thing you ever heard?!?! They said everyone in the ceremony just went, "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh..." I missed the whole thing because Amber & I were waiting to be called, but I think we have pictures and it's on the camcorder too.

I loved these parts too.... in the ceremony, when the officiant says, "ladies & gentlemen, may I present Mr. & Mrs. Curry! And also when Jason & Amber are introduced in the reception, "For the first time in public as man & wife.... Mr. & Mrs. Jason Curry!!! I loved it!!!

Two things I wanted to say before I forget...
The bouquets are so heavy!!! :bbeek: I didn't realize that until I picked Amber's up. I don't ever remember anyone ever saying anything about it before. But, ladies, be prepared if you are having real flowers, those suckers are heavy!!!

Also, my mother, who never cries, cried when Amber came down the aisle. Awwwwww... :soppy: That was also one of my favorite moments in the whole wedding too!!! You would have to know my Mother to appreciate that. I loved it!!! :D Also, when Amber read me the poem, my Mother turned to me and said, "I wished one of my daughters loved me like that." Awwwwww... again!!!

Well, I just wanted to let you know that Amber & Jason have checked in at Sky Harbor International Airport. They went through security without a hitch, and now have their boarding passes for Jamaica. They are so excited, and having something to eat and drink while they wait for their flight. It leaves Phoenix at 10:45PM Mountain Standard time, and they will arrive in Charlotte, North Carolina at 5:30AM Eastern Standard time. After they leave Charlotte, their next stop will be Montego Bay, Jamaica at 11:30AM tomorrow, which is two hours ahead of Phoenix. If their hotel room is not ready, they are going to go get something to eat and drink, and heading for the beach. LOL!!! Doesn't that sound heavenly?!?!? I'm so excited for them!!! :happy:

But I didn't raise a fool, she had a jacket packed in her take on luggage. lol She hasn't been able to sleep yet, but she's ok with that because she's going to Jamaica!!! LOL!!! She said Jason was sound asleep. They are going to be leaving North Carolina in about an hour and a half, and then they have a two hour flight to Montego Bay! So she will be in Jamaica in less than 4 hours from now!!

It had an 876 area code!!!! They made it safe and sound!!! I'm so happy!!!! Amber said that they are enroute to the hotel, and it is a 2 hour and 20 minute drive. She said she is enjoying every minute of it, because it is just beautiful so far. She sounds so happy and excited!!! OMG!!!! I am just so excited for her!!!

She said when they arrived from the drive, they were greeted with cold drinks and cold towels. Then they get to their room and Amber says the view is amazing and she is going to try to send me some pics as soon as possible. She said that she took a shower, and Jason was still in the shower, when someone knocked at the door. It was room service with a cheese platter and champagne for the newlyweds!!!! How romantic!!! She said they have a 6:30PM dinner reservation at a French restaurant, and then they are going for a walk on the beach!!! She says that it is wonderful there!!! She says they're being treated like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie!!!! LOL!!! :rofl:

Well, Amber called to give me an update from Jamaica. They got up this morning to the Resort Executive Room Service breakfast.

They went to the pool bar which Amber said was a blast. Amber got to try a "Dirty Banana" for the first time, and Jason says that those things could be dangerous. They said they taste like a milk shake, only better.

Then they proceeded straight out to the beach with some floaties. Amber says the waves in Jamaica aren't like the waves in California, they are softer and milder so you can just float for hours. Amber said you could see directly to the bottom of the ocean, it was crystal clear and blue. Jason got burned a little bit and Amber's back is itching like she got too much sun, but nothing too bad. They had protection with them but didn't use it, they will next time. :wink:

Then they had lunch right on the beach in their bathing suits, which Amber said was spectacular. Amber had jerk chicken which was very yummy and spicy, and Jason had a Jamaican hamburger which he also enjoyed.

Then they went kayaking, and Amber said they went a really far way out and it scared her a little bit. But she said it was so beautiful to look back on the island while you're on the ocean.

Then they went on a walking tour of the island, and got to see a GIANT sea turtle named Charlie, who is a girl. Amber says she got plenty of pictures of her because we all love turtles in my family. My Mother raises tortoises.

They are back in their room, and room service brought them a cheese/cracker and fruit platter for a snack. In 30 minutes, they are going out on a Glass Bottom Boat Tour. Doesn't that sound like fun? :biggrin:

There will be a big party on the beach for dinner tonight. Amber says it's a Jamaican tradition, and she can't wait. She says they're having the time of their lives!!! :whoohoo:

You could see the coral and the beautiful fish. Also, they took them really far out and they got to see a ship that had sank. How cool!!!

They bought a DVD where you insert your pictures into it, so she said it is going to be wonderful to watch her whole honeymoon on this DVD. She said they had the best time ever shopping and sightseeing!! She said they went and had lunch next, and then they went to the pool bar and played "shot bingo." She said they had a blast!! Then they went to dinner, and went back to the pool bar to continue the "shot bingo." LOL!!!

She has mixed emotions I am sure. Missing everyone to be certain but at the same time never wanting the fun to end. So much planning, so much excitement and it goes by so fast; feels like it's over in a flash.

Thanks ladies we had such a great time in Jamaica...everything was MORE than we hoped. Oddly enough I am not sad to be back home. I have been so darn happy all the time. It is weird. Nothing feels different just definite if that makes any sense.

Oh and today we spent about 5 hours at the Social Security Office changing my name that was fun...LOL!! Now all I have to do is wait 48 hours then go to the DMV and get my new license and I am good to go.

Thank you!!! I just want it all done! It was an amazing wedding it couldn't have been any better now it is over and I want to move on to the next adventure. Just trying to get it all said and done...and I NEVER want to plan another wedding again....LOL!!

Awe...thank you so much!! It was a PERFECT day and my wedding was truly amazing! It couldn't have been any better. I am very lucky. If you ever get a chance to go to Jamaica I highly recommend it and I am sure Holly would too! It was the perfect end to a perfect wedding!

We stayed at the most amazing resort it is called Couples San Souci and it was divine!! The food, the staff, the views all breathtaking. Highly recommend!
