Anyone wearing a non-traditional color?

There are so many beautiful gowns now being offered in colors or accent colors that are non-traditional. Anyone going this route?

I went that route and loved it!! I had the very first dress with color in my entire family!! (there are about 75 people just on my mom's side and the first to go this route!!) I loved my dress!!

I love the Mori Lee 3600! The claret is so popular now. I have also seen it in the navy with the matching flowergirl dress. Just stunning!

I haven't see or heard anything about it coming in navy but I do know that it is also comes in black!! I love this dress! I wanted to get the matching flower girl's dress but my SIL said no because it was 200 dollars!! We did get the matching Claret BMs dresses from Morilee though!

Im having a red dress, thought i'd go totally opposite to the usual white/cream, gerrin married in the snow and thought the contrast would be nice! Just have to manage to keep it a secret from everyone til then lol xxx

I wanted color on mine. I ended up with a dress with not as much color as I wanted but there is some accent colors. I was looking at the same dress as Canadian Bride but I knew once I went to get a dress I would end up with something totaly different then all the ones I looked at. This is the detailing on my dress. The rest is all white.

Thank you so much. This dress was the first one I tried on when I got the the shop. I tried on one more then put this one back on. I love it. This is my daughters dress. She is the Jr. Bride. I love how it matches without being exactly the same.

I wanted to do somethign with color in it for my dress. I was thinking a burgundy. But I ended up with an ivory with champagne trim. It just fit my color theme a little better. I love dresses with color though!

I put a silk blue band around the top and the bottom of my dress. I really liked it. And it helped me not "fall out" of my dress when I was dancing and playing with my Grandchildren.

My wedding dress had black on it, my nana just about died when she heard I had a wedding dress with black on it, but it worked so well and I think I looked pretty good. :)

I am! I am also the first! I'm not at all traditional but he is...so I'm kinda trying to work us both in there...I wanted more color...he didn't so I got some color but not a ton. I LOVE my dress!!!

It's funny...at all the bridal shows I've done/been in my mom is the one who always says I don't love the white dresses, aall the ones I like are color or have color. But I think I will want to go all white....We'll see!

I think a hint of colour is the way to go these days. Especially if your skin doesn't complement white.
I'm probably getting married in a game reserve in South Africa, my soon to be is from there. I'm really confused about what type of dress to get.

:D Since I have an obessesion with pink... I have found 11 different all pink wedding gowns. I havent found the one yet but still searching.... I have tried on a couple white gowns and looked sickly in them. And decided why be in a dress I am not comfy in... so pink it is!!!!

We just made a Swarovski crystal necklace with accents of siam (red) in it; when I asked what her dress was like, she showed me on her digital camera. It was a beautiful, rich, deep red and had accents of crystals on it. Absolutely stunning. Wish they had been around when I got married. I would have definitely gond red.
