Barefoot sandals? And my GREEN wedding dress!

So, I saw these and fell in love...

my wedding is in my backyard...and I make jewelry, so I can make them to match our dresses...

would it be tacky for everyone to have these barefoot sandals on?

I asked the girls and they love them...but I am constantly having seconds thoughts that everyone will think its tacky for a wedding, but it is the backyard and I thought they were fabulous (at first!)....advice is welcome!!

I LOVE barefoot sandals!!! I really wanted to use them as well for our garden wedding, but I went with a tea-length dress, so I figured my dress would work better with heels. I still might buy a pair just to wear for fun. I like the styles that this lady does:

The dress....I was going through Ebay one January morning after he asked...and I found that dress! I absolutely love it! It was so different from any other's I had seen. I've already worn white and wanted to be totally unique! I can't wait. :grinhappy: Its being made in China, handmade, to my measurements -- once it gets here in a few weeks I'll try it on and post some pics. :winktongue:

The picture on the bottom right is one I actually saved a picture of!! I think that is the kind I will make myself and the girls will wear the other style in their dress color.

BTW -- the girls love the idea of not having to wear shoes and who doesn't on a hot August day?? Just gotta make sure the kids pick up all the dog poop in the yard! :rofl:

The barefoot sandals would look great, I wouldnt worry about anything looking tacky.

With a green wedding dress I am pretty sure you set the rules for your wedding. :D

I never realized that until you mentioned it and the other girls started talking about Bollywood...I have never heard of Bollywood, so I googled images and yep...you're right!

I just thought it was totally different, unique and I WANTED IT!

Can't wait till it gets here!!!!!
