Need Idea for a latin theme wedding??

I would like to have a spanish theme. I would like for my bridesmaids and I with our partners to dance salsa I think that would be a good idea for my theme, but that's as far as I have gotten help!!

Melissa M it's me again. Living in S. CA you should have no problem assembling thems for a Latin Wedding. First of all, go with color. Bright colors. Yet wedding like. Starting with flowers, gerber daises in bright colors would be great. Like fushia and orange. Then you could go with white chair covers with fushia and/or orange ties or do half and half. One table orange ties, one table fushia ties. Have a Margarita station if you can fit that in your budget. Your table center pieces could be the same gerber daises shaped in balls with candles sticking out of the top. That way you have a colorfull and festive theme. Maybe during cocktail hour have some different kinds of salsas. Melon salsa and regular salsa. Also with whatever you are serving, maybe make the rice have pimentos in it. That's the red center of green olives just for color.

That's a start for you. I don't know if it's too far out for you. If it's in the evening, just add lots of candles and you will still see the brightness but it will be softended. I love weddings with color. Have your bridesmaids wear bright colored dresses. Keeping the same color theme as your reception.

Let me know what you think. BTW, my mom lives in Oceanside, are you that far south. I could fly in and bunk with her and then I could work with you :D :D :D :D :D .

Have fun with colors though, that would be the key.

Thank you! for your respone back to both my postings. I contacted a wedding coordinator to get some quotes and your right they charge 10% of what my wedding total would be. I like your ideas for a spanish theme wedding. I think bright colors would help my theme of course not to bright.
Are you a wedding coordinator where you live? Anyways thank you for the offer of coming in to help with my wedding, you have helped me a lot with just giving me ideas for the wedding. So just keep posting your ideas it helps me a lot.
