We decided we needed enclosure cards to go with our invitations, since our reception is not at the same place as the ceremony.

On the enclosure card we have "reception immediately following the ceremony" along with the name and address of the location. BUT where our reception is, they have multiple party rooms. Should I include the name of our specific room? I know there is a sign when you come into the hall with the room name and event going on there, so I'm sure people would be able to find it. But do you think we should have the room name on the enclosure card anyway?

i think i would put in on there just to be on the safe side..plus when people start getting there they will be like "oh yeah room 'monkey butt'..that sounds familiar!" and they can just zoom right on in there

The place we had our reception was like that. And we put the specific room name on there. I did it because my cousin and his wife had thier reception there a couple years ago. And they had a handful of people go to a differnt reception:grinhappy:. They finaly figured it out but still, I didn't want to have to send someone to hunt down guests.

I would too. I used to work in a Hotel that had 15 Conference Rooms and many a time we had people barging in on the wrong meeting. :bbeek:

OMG can you imagine going to a Wedding Reception, realising you don't know anyone there, spotting the Bride and Groom and thinking ooh i don't know them either and hoping they don't spot you as you try to make a sharp exit.
