Reception shoes?

I can't decide if I want to get a separate pair of shoes for the reception...I LOVE my shoes, and so far when I wear them they are comfy...but of course I haven't worn them for an entire day!!

Our wedding is fun and funky, as are my shoes....so if I do get reception shoes they need to be fun! e.i. think polka dots, red, mary janes, etc.

I'm big on love with multicolored shoes for weddings, I love a flash of red from under a white dress lol. I love the contrast of a bright color under a dress too. After seeing the cover of Brides this month, with the bright pink shoes and flowers, I decided on bright red satin shoes (and bright red roses for my bouquet).

If you're worried about your shoes, try wearing them around the house a lot between now and then, and get a good get insert for the ball of the foot.

Every night for half an hour i prance up and down my house in my Wedding Shoes.

Not only to break them in a bit, but to learn how to "drive" those Mothers LOL.

I've got the best "reception" shoes for mine. Being held at home i can put on my SLIPPERS!!!!!! :rofl:

ohhh thank you all!! and my regular shoes are red so that's why I hate to take them off...maybe i'll just start wearing them to break them in, i have no problem with heels...just don't wanna be in pain! hahaha i love the leopard flats though!!

I was actually going to...get this...wear heels I already have! Boring, no? But I figured no one would actually see my shoes and it does assure that they're broken in and comfortable and I know how they'll work because I've been drunk in them, danced in them, and have walked across three rock solid inches of ice in them (yeah, it's an acquired talent ;) ). BUT I just found a dress I love and am planning to wear it for the big day and it's only knee length so now my plans are revised and I am going to go out and get some amazing shoes! Heck, they might cost more than this dress... hehe
