Is anyone giving their fiancee a wedding gift? My husband (we were married in April). We're having our Reception June 28th., gave me a beautiful earring and necklace set last night for a wedding gift. It is beautiful. What could I get him? Is is a normal thing to give a gift to your fiancee?

DH and I didn't really do wedding gifts.
But I have seen things like engraved keychains, watches, etc ...

I'm getting him a really nice watch that he's been wanting. It's a Tissot, limited edition Nicky Hayden edition.
It seems watches, cufflinks and boudoir pics are the most common groom's gifts. :)

I just ordered part of FH's gift this week. It's cufflinks that look like the original NES controller. I'm also thinking about boudoir photos, but haven't really decided yet.

I gave my fiance a really nice Tissot watch for an engagement present after he proposed and gave me the ring. They are very nice watches!:D
I'll bet most men would like a flat screen TV?:D

My FH is very Patriotic to England. So i plan on getting him a statue of St George on Horseback slaying the Dragon.
I've seen one on eBay i want to get but i'll have to use a friends account because FH "peeks" at what i'm buying.

Hey!! just being there besides him on our wedding day should be a gift in itself! He's marrying the most beautiful, talented, funny, intelligent
tenderhearted and of course MODEST woman he's ever gonna meet! haha :winktongue:
But seriously, we're DIY'ers and we already know we don't have the extra moola to spend on each other. Just knowing that I am marrying my best friends is the best present I will ever receive and I'm pretty darn sure he feels the same way.
He's not a dress up kinda guy, so if I had to buy him something special, it would have to be Titanium arrows for his bow. :grinhappy:

I am making Micah a scrapbook. I have tons of pictures of him playing with his bands and I thought it would be really neat to give him one scrapbook with all the important stuff. My MOH's mom is huge into scrapbooking so she's helping me out. Not super expensive, but very personal.

I've been thinking about that...and there are so many possibilities. Part of me would love to give him a GPS system or a good camera. But I dunno. It's too early to say yet.

i didnt get my husband anything. we just cant afford it after the wedding. i might get him a nice one year anniversary present. i think the wedding we gave ourself was our gift to each other.
I gave Bruce a Black Hill's Gold Tie Tack. He didn't used to ever wear ties...so didn't have one. Now he has 3 ties...kind of different!

I wanted to get Steve this tee-shirt.. http://www.crazydogtshirts.com/catalog/game%20over.jpg
But its not at target anymore. :( i know he would have got a kick out of it. lol
I did get Chad a gift because I wanted to do something special for him. He just started his professional career so I got him a nice set of mother of pearl cufflinks. I also wanted to get him something unique to our relationship. I got in touch with the band that plays "our song" and they sent us an autographed cd -

Im getting Danny a Metal Magnet from "things remembered" with an engraving in it to stick on his toolbox at work.. he has a HUGE snap on tool box that is his "baby" and looks at it everyday, therefore this would be cute.id probably put something from a letter i wrote him years ago (he kept all of them ;) )

That's got to be the best.
I used to send a Poem a day to my FH when he lived 300 mile away. I've got them all in a book.

Yes i'm quoting myself but it saves the fingers LOL.
Back to the drawing board for me. The company that used to sell the St George statues has been booted off of eBay. I managed to track one down under "Completed Listings" But when i clicked on it to contact them direct, eBay has withdrawn it.
Oh well, Thinking cap back on.
